Thank you, helpful cyclist

Full story: TwinCities.com

While I was walking on the Gateway State Trail on the afternoon of Oct. 27, I was mugged by a couple of young men who knocked me to the ground, tossed my glasses in the grass and took off with my wallet.

Economically, we're all better off with the phone books. People are making a living with those phone books. If you don't wish to keep it, recycle it.

To Ann Rinkenberger and your daughter. Next year, carve out a couple of the pumpkins and fill them with Sakrete (instant concrete from the lumber yard) and put them at the end of your driveway. Make sure the pumpkins filled with concrete are a few of your larger pumpkins. Then let the little rats run them over and see what it does to the front end of their car. They might think twice about running over pumpkins the next time (or not, because they're mindless kids).

I agree with the posting regarding following the law and having lights on when it is either dark or raining. However, I have found that most of the offenders are younger persons, first generation immigrants, or people talking on their cell phone. This law is another attempt to regulate "common sense". If you have it you have it. Not everybody has common sense. Pretty obvious. As far as the Police, show me a cop who will get out of their comfy warm cruiser to get all wet dealing with someone who does not care enough about driving to turn their lights on.

If you want to see some real dangerous driving, hang out near a school when the children are coming and going. here are some parents that place their own children in grave danger by disobeying simple rules and laws, like crossing the street in a crosswalk, etc.

about the North St Paul VFW theft incident -- don't assume the thief is male. More likely to be female. seriously. the thief is most likely a woman.

Amazed at your skill in identifying "first generation immigrants" while in the rain, driving.

They must have had a bumpersticker that read "I'm a first generation immigrant on a cell phone"

Daily Horoscope for December 1

Taurus

Today is potentially very romantic, as the Moon and Venus enliven your sex life. If you open up your heart, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The Bull is slow to fall in love, but tends to be very loyal and committed, which makes it important for you to choose your partners wisely. You feel more intense, especially from the standpoint of the psychological motivations and behavior patterns involved.
