Man shot to death in Lennox

It's time to fence off the ghettos from the rest of LA. Ooops, I mean, fence off the ghettos and LA from the beach cities. Double electric razor wire fences.

There is always something going on in Lennox!

Its NOT just Lennox. It is every where. Hawthorne, Lawndale, Torrance, Palos Verdes, El Segundo, Wilington, Carson, Just to nama a few. The beach is not safe any more. All of California is going down the drain.....................

Wow! Is the Fence it off comment honestly there? How is that going to solve anything? Does violence only exist in ghettos and LA? I never knew beach cities were crime-free havens...I really hope this comment is just a bad joke bc if it's not you need to get out of your beach bubble and brain storm on a more effective solutions to this problem. One thought, why not start investing in the kids who live in these "ghettos" so they don't grow up to hate the world. It's not their fault they were born there, but the rest of us can do something about it to try to help. We are obviously not going to solve 100% of the problem, but we can start somewhere.

That fence comment is really brilliant. we also can add a river around lennox toss some gators and sharks in it, and watch crime stats drop. NOT! That fence comment is insulting. This shooting had nothing to do with bay cities. But Maybe we should build fences around bay cities to keep those drug crazy loonies from coming to the "ghetto" to buy drugs.

Wow, somebody got blasted in Lennox!? I thought it was such a safe place all along. I didn't think it was as bad as the beach cities.

When I go jogging, I drive from the beach to Lenox jog. It is so much safer there.

The real problem and most of the public does not have the will to correct it.....ENFORCE EXISTING LAWS AND HAVE CRIMMINALS SERVE ALL THEIR TIME!

Judges and DA's are too lax. THAT'S THE PROBLEM!

i will not rest till torrance police dept. pay for rodney sandberg death. that was uncall for and i will help the family the best i can. they did not have the the right to shoot him to death. after he was lasered they could tackled him down. they didn't and killed a 24 year old man,husband,father,son to someone.

Whenever I was in a situation to do as I was told by a Police Officer, I simply did it. I was born and raised in Torrance. The Torrance Police are the best of the best in Law Enforcement. I love the fact they have a reputation for no nonsense. I don't want them to change a thing. Keep up the good work Torrance PD.

Wow I'm so surprised at the comments and then we wonder WHY this world is full of criminals and drug addicts, people who make stupid mistakes and don't think about the consequences. Here is a young man, father of three with a family, a wife and instead of us saying "OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY" we have nothing but negative things to say. I am a Resident of Lennox….. Various Police Departments especially Torrance PD lack experience when dealing with different cultures, our Military learned quickly that violating ones Religion, culture or simply not showing respect only produces heavy and long term consequences. I hope “ALL” Police Departments gain knowledge from our Military, adapt and educate yourself or continue to diminish the American Peoples integrity. “I will not allow my people to suffer because of one person’s ignorance”.
