Santa Monica Middle School Teacher Arrested On Molestation Chages

With all the crazed scare tactics on sex offenders the public refuses to believe the majority of child predators are family members and friends or teachers. They all think it's the buggy man. One more teacher bites the dust.

Congratulations to that little girl who was brave enough to tell the truth. Surely there are many more victims as he taught for decades. I hope all victims gain the courage to come forth.

this guy was my middle school teacher long time ago. he always seemed very strange and I complained about him to the principal and my complaints was always ignored. this guy was a major crrok and should have never been allowed to teach anything. good to finally see him go down, although it took this crook 20 years. thats sad, shame on Lincoln middle school for allowing this crook to get away for 20 years.

When anything happens sexually or physical abuse in our educational system, the first thing folks want to say is, "I can't believe this has happened our area." People wake up!!!!! Things like this has been happening since the beginning of time. We need to pay attention to our children. You know that your child is usually a happy person, grades are fairly good and then all of a sudden their personalities are different. We question them and they seem distant and not wanting to talk, then is the time to start paying closer attention to your child. Let our children know that it's not okay to be touched where and when you don't want to be touched. Parents, grandparents let's all wake up. Our children are hurting and afraid to tell. Let them know that they are the victims and that we love them uncoditionally. God will deal with the molesters, be it men or women.

This guy should be fried in prison. Cannot believe this bastard has gotten away for all these years. The middle school should be held responsible and sued for hiring a sex pervert like Beltran. this criminal should be prosecuted asap and never allowed to walk the streets.

They should send him to prison if he is guilty. We need to hear more about the case.
I can not believe it happen in SANTA MONICA especially in that school which the majority of students are $$$$$$ and white.To be honest I would have expected this incident in another school from the same area but difficult to believe it happened at LINCOLN.
I am sure the SM district will pay off the parents so that they won't get sue.

My son attends Lincoln Middle School. I am very disappointment in this teachers actions. When I drop my son off to school I pray everyday God protects him from people like that.

you are so right and one of those female teachers was arrested three times this year each time while out on bail. enough, stop letting people out on bail.

Double standard, the women should be behind bars as well. There all damn sickos!!!! Get them out of our SCHOOLS! Our kids aren't safe in schools anymore! WTF?!?

I attended Lincoln Middle School 20 years ago and remember Mr. Beltran as a wonderful teacher. He never appeared creepy or perverted, just kind and friendly (in an appropriate way, of course). This is shocking news and I sincerely hope the allegations aren't true....for the sake of the victims, the kind teacher I once knew and for the reputation of the great middle school.

Beltran=criminal! should be thrown in jaiol for rest of his life. Everyone at Lincoln Middle School in charge of hiring this criminal should be also help liable and possibly charged. Beltran shoould be given the death penalty for moleting these innocent girls. the principal and whomever hired this criminal should also lose their jobs and be thrown in jail.

I am glad that you take your child to school. However, you should walk in side with him and watch with your own eyes what goes on. I am sure you are well aware of the things that have been going on for the past few years. Please ask other parents to stop by and watch the students behavior towards others.
