Smoking in front of kids is not great parenting. Why would anyone risk the health of a child in that way?

I see it all the time- redneck parents driving around in a smoke filled car with a bunch of overweight unrestrained kids running around the back seat.

Why don't they make people pass a test before they reproduce?????

If by bigot you mean I am not tolerant of people who let their kids get fat, don't put them in car seats and smoke in their faces, then I wear it proudly. People put more thought into which brand of soda to buy than into raising their children. It's disgusting.

In all seriousness, I don't care if people smoke or not, as long as it's not in my fresh air, and as long as it's not in the fresh air of children. Children need to be protected from harm and it's up to adults to make sure that happens. It's hard to believe people can't agree on that one point.

Now, puddles, if the infrence was not on red neck (term used to describe uneducated southern whites) then why did you feel the need to say redneck? I wonder if the post would not have been more believable as not being the post of the bigot if Puddles had said. I see it all of the time- PARENTS and the rest of the post could have meant the same.

As for the Walmart, I do go to Walmart to purchase generic items such as toilet tissue, coffee and other basic needs of the house, however, for fresh veggies or meats we have this wonderful regional chain called Ukrops that gives very personal service at a small increase in price.

I also do this type of buying when it comes to other items such as Vehicles, I will drive past four GM, Ford and Chrysler dealers to get a quality Toyota, Scion or Lexus.

Now, puddles, go and attempt to impress one who is easily impressed, such as the rest of your ninth grade class.

All the people on this forum are sheep, don't smoke because it harms your lungs. What a concept?? My Father, 63 years ago smoked while he changed my diaper, he didn't die of lung cancer, I don't have lung cancer. Smoking is legal, If this lady decides to smoke by her child, it's up to her, not some anti-smoking Nazi's who decide for her.
