Inglewood mayor appears in court

He has helped bring alot of new development to Inglewood

what do you expect with they peeps running the town? have you ever had to work with one? this doesnt shock me at all.

This is what happens when greed prevails. The City of Inglewood led by Dorn has discontinued all housing programs to aid seniors and people that need access to affordable housing and first time homebuyers. All CDBG programs in Inglewood should be investigated by HUD investigators.

This clown Dorn does not know that the Chairman of the City Council sits in the middle on the dais/ The other councilmembers lets this clown does most of anything without opposition/ He has been a disgrace to the city and all churches regardless of religious beliefs/

Good thing Rep. Laura wasn't there. She must have a better lawyer than he does though.

If he is found guilty, I hope they throw the book at him. I'm sick and tired of these corrupt politicians. They should use him as an example so the next politician will think twice before stealing and abusing the public trust.

I never made that quote attributed to me. I was in court with mayor Dorn along with other Inglewood Area Ministers to show my support for the mayor. Whoever is responsible for falsely misrepresenting themselves as "Jewett Walker" will be tracked down and dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.

Perhaps to start your retribution you obtain a piece of transparent paper (still with me) copy his name on it (transparent paper) Now on a regular piece of paper, copy your name (still with me) Now! put the other poster's down on a table, OK, now place the transparent (your name) on top of the other piece of paper. Isn't Walker the one named in the newspapers as the one who sent the Gorilla and Monkey mailer back in 1999? As I recall from newspaper reports, Walker used some guy named MacAlpin of AMAC and Winvotes for the mailing and then denied he did so.

Yep. And no Inglewood City employee has recieved a raise since Dorn has been in office (ten years now and not a nickle)

I am glad that this person has been made to respect the law like everybody else. I also want the city treasurer wanda brown to return her loan also. Dorn acts like he is above the law, nobody can be critical of him. If you are - than you are crazy. He claims he brought all these jobs to Inglewood. He didn't. All the new stores and businesses were planned by former mayor Ed Vincent and the former council members. Dorn has cost Inglewood millions of tax dollars. He lost our Water source - he sold it, he ran his mouth when the 15 yr. old boy was misstreated by those police officers and Inglewood had to pay the cops millions of dollars after they won the lawsuit. Inglewood had to pay out millions for discrimination after he fired former city executives because they were white. He actually said that. He is an disgrace to Inglewood residents and African Americans. Dorn you can't just be loud and bossy - nobody if afraid of you. and right now - nobody cares!!

Mayor Dorn has received checks mailed to his home from developers? DA Cooley are you listening? Reported by postal workers.

This is just another case of the man keeping the brother down ! But don't worry people. OJ pled "100 not guilty" and the brothers and sisters on his jury knew what to do to shove it back at "the man".

Danny Tabor asked Dorn at a council meeting about the loan and had he had the bylaws changed to include elected officials to be eligibal for the loan. Than Danny Tabor ran for mayor against Dorn. This loan info was in Tabor's campaign literature. everybody just thought it was campaign rhetoric. Unfortunately I voted for Dorn in that race, I wish now I had voted for Tabor. Tabor is on the council now, I hope he runs for Mayor when Dorn steps down.
