Trying to figure out how to make the results show up so as you vote you can see them, but I am not having success. I am the only one that can see the votes. The good part is the survey only lets you vote once, so at least we won't get inflated results.

I will post the results every couple of days or so.

PLEASE......no bashing of any candidate. Just doing this survey for fun and to see where people's minds are with the voting.

Here's what the results are as of 6:15pm today:
Superintendent - Benton leads with 81.8%

School Board - Goodson leads with 81.8% as well.

School Board - McDaniel and Walle each have 50%. None has cast a vote for Griffin.

Tax Collector - Brown leads with 54.5%, Murdock 36.4%, and Fader has 9.1%.

County Commission - McKinnie is ahead of Spires. McKinnie has 54.5% of the votes.

County Commission - Hutton has 54.5%, Lockey has 45.5%

County Commission - Padgett and Stephens are tied with 45.5%, Williams has 9.1%

Sheriff - Lou Roberts leads with 81.8%

State Representative - Glidewell leads with 81.8% over Coley's 18.2%.

the school board candidate is Waller. He was a teacher for 30 years. He is the best choice for district 2. And Goodson is the best choice in district 5

Yes, 23 people had voted when I looked up the results.

7:00pm - at this time there are a few over 60 people who have voted at this time on Survey Monkey.

Superintendent - Benton 83.3%, Miller 16.7%

School Board - Goodson 70.8%, Oswald 29.2%

School Board - Waller 47.6%, McDaniel 33.4%, Griffin 19%

Tax Collector - Murdock 54.5%, Brown 37.5%, Fader 8.2%

County Commission - McKinnie 52.2%, Spires 47.8%

well i do wish more than 60 people would vote. I like Steve Benton and Ernie Padgett. Sure do hope Coley gets thrown out of office. As for School Board I like Dave Waller in District 2 and Stacey Goodson in District 3. We need some Board members and a Superintendent that will straighten out Cottondale High. Benton and Waller both worked at CHS. Roberts will go back in as Sheriff and Lockey and Spires as County Commissioner.

I HOPE YOU ARE RIGHT in most of the races. Coley has to get beat.

Keep in mind that although this gives us a very small, minute idea of what people are thinking, remember that 60 people is much less than 1% of the registered voters in Jackson County, so in reality this little survey is bout like spotting an ant in a cornfield.

I don't care how long Lockey has been in office - Hutton is NOT an option. Her financial record speaks for itself.
