100% agree with tiger proud. Start your own post if you want to talk about staff issues or transfer to Sneads where they love to air their laundry for everyone to see.

Thank you! This started out to honor the basketball players and their accomplishments. Let's keep it there. For some of these guys this will always be their shining moment and I hate to see it tarnished by what this has become. I guess that is 'my opinion'. To see things guys hold out their hands with championship rings some 3 and 4 rings and see the pride on thier faces. Maybe you should have seen those faces or if you did try to remember those faces........Sorry for the tangent.

Yeah, that is what you would think, but since those opinions are not share by some of those responding, then I guess they feel they need to mark the comment as clueless. Such as they did to yours and most of the others hear that differs from their thoughts.

This has to be the best post on this site. Very well said. Bigger is not always better. Bigger tends to bring more problems. If the "center of the universe" really knew the obstacles and challenges that come with a limited number of athletes to work with, instead of having your pick, they really would have a thorn in their side. I am not sure they understand that "heart" sometimes is more important than talent, money, or resources.

I graduated from Malone a few years before Linda Hall took over, and I am so jealous when I hear about the opportunities students there have now that I didn't have because the principal at the time was on his way out. Students now can go to Beta convention, have a real senior trip, go somewhere other than Chipola for prom, take language classes, take A&P or Chemistry... things that I couldn't do! The Malone gym had been in need of upgrades for years. Malone has more state championships than any other school in the county but had the worst gym. Linda Hall is the reason the gym has finally been upgraded & why students have all of these opportunities now. She CARES enough to put effort into making things happen. All of my classmates liked Ms. Hall & knew they could go to her if they had a problem. From what I can see, she expects her staff to do their jobs & tenured teachers who have been doing nothing for the last 15 years may not like that.

Everytime I tell someone I'm from Malone they immediately bring up basketball. Kudos to Malone School for honoring their past state champions & celebrating the opening of the "new" gym.

You must not be talking about Malone High School in Malone, Florida. There is no male Biology teacher there.
