His sister did succeed in getting water fees to timeshares charged as MF. Odd since many unites are rented like hotel units by management. Why are timeshares given this terrific break. In some communities, timeshares owners /users pay special fee and/or hospitality taxes . They get a huge break here in LBTs. WONDER WHY

WONDER WHY Since you are so concerned, why don't you call Boutin or the Town to satisfy your curiosity ..... call to learn the facts about what you want to know re what you call 'timeshares given terrific break'.

Its a fact timeshares are coded as Multifamily. So that is correct. Because of that, timeshares pay less then hotels for most public services. Another fact. Thank you Mr. Boutin! Guess whats going to happen next!!! You idiot!! I own timeshares in town!!!

I did not suggest you call every Tom, etc. All you have to do is fill out a public information request form or call the Town Clerk. Shouldn't be very difficult to do if you know where town hall is.

According to public records he lives in a homesteaded home with his wife in Coconut Creek. If the hose is homesteaded, his drivers licence is not one for a LBS address. However he could run for other state wide and national public offices, but not any town wide office in my hometown of LBS, unless he has made or about to make some big changes, with the tax assessors office.

John is a very nice guy and has taken over a small family owned timeshare management company whose only client is a small local timeshare. He is doing a good job but I think he needs to build up his resume a little more before running for state or national office. I think Arthur would do a very good job and should run for office in LBTS.

I think Arthur would do a very good job and should run for office in LBTS. Is being in office necessary to help people of our town? Or maybe being elected actually gets in a way because this job is viewed as a stepping stone to better and bigger political things? Maybe that explains why our town is such a good neighbor. Our electeds do not want to upset pompano over such things as sewer rates for example because they might need support from beyond the borders of tiny lbts on the way to better and bigger things, Do people of our town even need help? We are all doing well. Our taxes just ensure that some can do better than others thanks to the spending of taxpayers money alone. Are voters of our town even interested in our town doing well or dong the right thing? Or is it all about getting something for oneself or making a career at expense of others in town? If so as long as you make populist promises to 51 percent of voters, which translates to 10 percent of population, you get elected. And what a glorious ideology would be guiding you. As long as you rob couple medium businesses the majority will be better off. As long as the town robs one taxpayer everybody else not robbed will be better off. What a discovery. I may run. We will see. But I will not be doing anybody any special favors at the expense of someone else, nor would I promise to rob a minority to help the majority. Can i win on these terms in our town? You need others to stay the current course. I will do my work fixing this current course my way whether elected or not.

No Man Is An Island wrote: <quoted text> .......plenty of people without tunnel vision survive because they are not Selfish and care with concern about others and the world around them ....... OK. So if I do not defend my family's business will you defend it for me? Should I rely on you then? Will you succeed? Would I be smart to rely on you rather than on myself? See the thing is this. You have businesses that come to the Town Hall, which supposedly is representing all taxpayers' interests, and these businesses say to Town Hall "help us," but what is untold is that this will cost you, the taxpayer, if you will help these businesses that ask for help. My family's business never asked for help from the Town Hall nor from taxpayers and never will unless we will be attacked by the administration or the Commission. So the question is this, if you are a taxpayer in LBTS, is it in your interest to attack/oppose a business that never asks for your money or is it in your interest to help businesses that ask for special favors at your expense? I think that the answer to both question is "no."

Just reviewed the sewage backup material for the upcoming meeting Tuesday. The Windjammer report seems to be in error. It is correctly listed as multi-family, but incorrctly listed and charged for 15 units, when actually they consist of 34 units. Multi-family pay by the unit. I hope there is an explanation that is believeable. Any one with info, I would appreciate the information.
