What a sad thing to view the destruction of gracious
old pines at the Bruce Mansion. No thought to neighbors, wild life or erosion. What next? The town will soon be called Andreasville? How is it the planning board is allowing this ugly thing to happen. What protection do folks have against occupational tactics similar to Poland during WW2? Money, power, politics. Seems somebody around here is real impressed and given full permission for all of this to occur. I am mourning the loss of Andes. It is no more. Edna Waren |

i agree, but apparently one can do what he wants on his own property even if it does include destroying 200 year old spruces.
