Hmm he was bullied for being poor so in return he wants to bully is w his $? We didn't miss him in the yrs he was gone and I'm sure if he leaves we won't miss him now. Good riddance!!

Does anybody know who were the people who bullied him when he was a kid? Are they they the same people who voted against him? I wonder why he does not buy the automobile dealer who refused to sell to him.

you know what yea he has brought a few jobs here they last what a year maybe two. long enough to be a tax write off then they close. he has bought up everything all the homes and buildings in town and wants to charge ridiculous rent for houses that they won't take care of. yes he did put on the firework show for us a few years age and did have the pool fixed but has anyone noticed all the buisiness that has closed since he has came back to town. ALOT. who is that helping? we were just fine before he came here and we will be just fine whenever he decides to leave.

Why doesn't everyone feel as if it's this mans job to help OUR town. All of us need to come together and help. What he does with his money is his business. If he doesn't want to bring jobs to us he doesn't have to. If he does well good for him. Just because he has money doesn't mean he has to do anything with. I don't see any of the other wealthy families in the town trying to do anything. I think it's time to leave this man alone.

The man would have already done it as he had planned but some of the doubters have held him back. He is wiser than most of the others who are critical of him. This was the best opportunity our community had but he may withdraw his support if he does not get some kind words from those he is going to help. he had planned to donate sound equipment to all the churches but none were willing to accept it. As far as I know nobody has acceoted one. He also promise dto match all contributions to the Veteran's wall. Also why was there so much opposition to him paving the airport. Will the city allow him to rebuild the sewers? Some try to stop all of his plans out of jealosly and hate.

Yes when he makes these improvements al of our property will increase in value as it will become a model city and thei sincrease in value will raise your property assessment and thus increase your taxes but the property will be more valuable when you sell it. He will pay more taxes also because he pays far more taxes than anybody else.

Hey just me - where are you and the so called anyone else who give a flying flip cause I don't see or hear them? Stop hiding - either stay quiet please or speak up. That's right folks - shut up already and say what you really think and make it count.

The next City Hall meets June 11, 6 pm. Let's be there because from what I hear we may need to vote in another set of volunteers.
What we need is a volunteer supervisor who has some authority to step on the useless crooks that can't hide so easily any more.

Just who the hell would you like to run this lovely place?

Shoot, hit this one when it was next one I would have preferred to respond to.
Sir, the man talked a lot, but even in the short time (3 weeks) I was getting acquainted with him he didn't back up what he said. He had the opportunity and he still does. See I didn't want anything from him, I didn't judge him by all the nonames opinions or even those of some I heard personnnally. I now do believe some of what I heard to the negative of this man's character.
He lied to me, didn't do what he offered and paid me $100 for entertaining him, when I don't ever charge anyone for that kind of entertaining. Screw you dirty minds -! Please don't even go there!

I don't believe town owes him and nor does he owe this town from what I gather. We will never know the truth. The truth as I see it, he wasn't as smart as I thought he was and again he did not have very good spokespersons behind him. It was a joke and I think he intended it to be just that. He just wanted to shake us all up as a community, but this place doesn't shake off their couches much! Know what I mean - shoot already forgot your name!

Forgive me young un. I meant no disreprect. I start out responding to one and recall several others so I combine them. I should be specific so those I don't intend to offend won't come back so quick to defend. Again - I apologize. I agreed with what you said as my next post will show.
Thanks
Peace Out!
You were so cute and polite. Keep it up - it is very appreciated!

What do you actually know? Is he tearing these places down to let the grass grow and leave the city to decide who can afford to mow it. Have you seen those old men with their old equipment mow his law down near airport?
Very Sad! I notice those men do not mow Ivey's residents up on Vine! Just saying....

Ya i agree. Ive lived around this town going on 33 yrs. Ive never met the man. First time i even saw a pic of him was at a Odd Fellos meeting when he wanted to join. Till resent ive never seen a good.pic. But im like you im clean i drive a.deleivery truck with hazmats and tankers. But i have to drive 35 mi one way and gas is killing people. If they'd let him bring jobs to town that would help out alot of poeple.
I agree . The upper crust around here are afraid he may take his place in the community & make something out of this town. As for them not wanting him for mayor ,I am sure he would have done more for the town than the mayor we have now. He just let them raise our water bill to $50 if you do not use more than 2000 gal per month. How's that for leadership ???

I still think he will be back to do what he had promised. The city cannot build the library or build the new sewers if he does not want it done, he dod not get the support for the Veteran's memorial.
