Everyone I know has the above faults. Some people have even worse faults. Yeah, I'm saying nice things about him because he's gone. After all, isn't that why this thread was started? I didn't know Jake on a personal level, it was strictly professional, but by you making these comments in his family's time of grief don't you think you're lowering yourself to a level beyond what you claim he was? By saying such things, you display immaturity and lack sensitivity. I'm sure you normally don't behave in such a manner as this, I'm sure whatever ill feelings you may have will eventually pass. |

justin must have taken his jerk pill today.. I went to college with Jake. Maybe the guy Justin new had those faults, and I am sure most of us do. However, the Jake I knew was a kind and thoughtful guy. He left a lot of his heart in Viet Nam but none of his spirit. As far as I can tell, the world would better off if it were full of men like Jake. As far as our buddy Justin, i would bet that he is one of those typical guys who does little and whines a lot. If I had to have Justin or Jake back me up in Nam... wonder who I would choose.. Rest well Jake.. I

Remember when Jake's wife use to take him to see his BOY friend? And how during election time his WAR wound would act up and he would use his cane? Then after elections he would been seen jogging around Marfa?
