who was the one that let andrew leave the party when in the first place they knew they had upset him and on top of that knew he was intoxicated and should not have been driving... i think that who ever let him leave should take the blame to since it happened at there house. i know andrew and he isnt the type of person to hurt anyone intentionally!!!! he didnt even remember the next day why they had put him in jail, if he would of known i am postive that he would have stopped to help! i know that he isnt totally inoccent but he isnt the only one to blame i think you should give andrew a chance to tell what he remembers and not just point fingers at him! if you throw a party you are responsible for makeing sure that who ever drank there shouldnt be able to take off because accidents like this happen and innocent people get hurt or like andrew on the other hand get locked up for something that he dont even remember and this could of been prevented!

we know what andrew did was a crime, but murder? come on now he would never hurt any1 especially like this she was a friend of the familys a neighbor. y was he given the keys, y was he not talked out of leaving, y did it end up this way. dats all we have now is questions and no one actally knows but the man up stairs.( not even andrew knows wat happen). but wat we do know is were gonna be there for him every step of the way. our prayers go out to marla and her family. we hope that everyone out there also keeps andrew in their prayers as well. lets remember that he is a good guy not a bad one.

He walked away, not drove, and went and got someone else's vehicle, then ran her over.

He went across the road, hit and killed her. Then left.
Her family, friends and co workers are devistated. She saved another's life by pushing him out of the way. If it was an accident, he should not have left the scene.

If you watched the news on KLBK they showed what happened, another person there talked to her family. It was a tragedy for both victims and families. This was probably the result of drinking.
Maybe people will learn frm this terrible event that they can have celebrations and parties, without drinking alcohol. Now that beer will be sold at most convenient stores in all the counties, people should realize this is what comes of it. Marla lost her life and Andrew Soliz will never be the same. No one is wishing him any bad, there is no punishment to bring her back. Just pray for all involved.

This was a terrible tragedy for all.
No we weren't there,nd neither were you. If you watched KMAC TV it showed where he hit her. And there was a witness. It is sad for the families and both victims. If it weren't for drinking, this probably would not have happened. People should see from this, that they can have celebrations or parties, without alcohol. Now that beer will be sold in most convenience stores in all counties, people should not buy it. Drugs and alcohol destroy so many lives. Marla is dead and Andrew's life will never be the same.

No one made him drink, no one made him go to this party. If he can't handle himself, then he should never be allowed to be free so he can never drink again. I feel for his family but for someone to act as though this man didn't mean to hurt someone is absurd. What about my family? What about Marla? She did nothing to deserve losing her life. This man should be charged with murder, he CHOSE to drink, he chose to be angry, he chose to drive. He is an adult, the blame, fault, and stupidity belongs to him.
Marla is in a better place now, but she was taken away from us in the most horrible way. Her best friend, life partner, & husband had to watch her murder, and there was nothing he could do. Put yourself in his shoes before you take up for an irresponsible person who can't handle himself.

First of all it was a tragic accident! Shes the one that provided for them mostly everything, so she had fault in it too, not just him. and dont u think his family is suffering too? we know wat her family is going through. And her husband was too drunk to know wat exactly happened, he didnt see anything he was inside the bar the whole time, maybe if he was sober that nite he could have prevented so much from happening that night. And im standing up for Him( andrew) because i know 1st hand what happened that night i saw it all! Everyone there made the choice to drink..... was klbk or kmac exactly at the scene when this happened?? they jus heard what people from morton had to say.. they never asked anyone that was actually there they just assumed this by the rumors!! we feel for the family but this was not intentional...

First of all, he was invited by Marla to attend the party. Yes it was a tragic accident. And NO her husband/bestfriend DID NOT see her pass on, HE was not aware of the accident. And we do fill for Marla because she was a very close friend of the family, and we hated to see this tragic accident happen but accidents do happen and i feel that andrew should NOT be charged with murder because accidents do happen!
