Why do sex offenders get away so quikly they hurt young people and still get to live with no charges there needs to be more controll on this level... this is why young girls fear for their lives nobody does enough about it!!!!!!!

I agree-- Why do they keep letting these people out and why do they end up in Bellingham? Is it that they were on their way to Canada and couldn't make it in so they settle here? Is someone giving these people one way tickets out of their town to ours as they get out of prison?

I liken the need for the reporting of sex offenders to the Minutemen border group. If our government were doing its job we wouldn't need either of them.

Screw it, we should make it a police state! That way we can shoot them!

I hope one of you gets locked up for something and are never EVER given the chance to change! See how you like it! Living scared, as most of you choose to, is more destructive to our country than any criminal...

Putting 'sick' people or addicts in jail is retarded. That's America's cure, if you don't like 'em kill 'em. If you can't kill 'em, jail them, forever.

I totally agree! the police here are terrible! I went online and located several sex offenders living less than a mile from where my daughter and I keep our horses-nobody but nobody informed the rual area neighbors. Sex offenders are NOT normal human beings and should not be allow to mix with the rest of society.

i totally and completely agree. i would want to be informed if i was living anywhere near a sex-offender. obviously, people lke that arent going to stop just because they were caught. they are going to try harder to not get caught the next time. and can you believe that on myspace, there are blogs where people anonymously confess this sort of thing? a guy even confessed to forcing his newborn child to suck his dick! thats TERRIBLE! and another admitted to raping little children. just imagine of all of those people would be locked away. there would be a lot less fear in the world

I would want to know if some sex offenders lived by me I have a 3 year old boy end so I would be very concerned and scared. These monsters don't get that much time for what they do. A person that robs stores gets more time then a person that takes a big part of you.

true words AAC.life is a roll of the dice.to think we can control every aspect of our lives through more cops, more prisons, more laws is absurd.

Actually sex offenders are people too and if they served their time and paid their debt to society then leave them alone.People forget the majority of offenders go through treatment and some honestly try to improve and change their lives, while doing so the last thing they need is a witch hunt while they are trying to achieve this.I have ministered to many offenders and every situation is different. If the couts revealed the falsely accused by disgrunteled minors you'd be hunting them down next.

Sad to say there is an issue that is widely overlooked in our correction institutions and that is over crowding for one.Inmates serve less for that reason and some get good time which is fine. But an overlooked and widely ignored is the people with mental health problems who aren't gettting the help they need.Unfortuanately the court dont give a rats ass (excuset the expression) who you are or do they provide any quality pshychological assistance to those who need it.It's like drawing straws, you dont know what your going to get and the community's best hope is that the offender hs learned his/her lesson and is getting the help they need to become productive people.
