What is your opinion of Officer Stanley Cook?

Acts and looks like Barney Fife. He sleeps with his gun.

Takes a real man to pull an AR-15 on a bunch of kids that werent hurtin anythang huh??? They didnt have any business even being out there at nite with guns. What if one of the kids would have shot them for runnin out of the woods with a gun at nite then whos fault would have it been?????

I heard he wears his gun to church. I wonder if he loves his wife as much. I hear he has a son that is just like him.

cook & self just can't turn down going after kids.they would be to scared to mess with a grown man. with the way those grown ass men acted with all those kids one would think our law is all the mayberry nuts. all of these kids parents need to go to some heads about this crap and i don't mean andy the sheriff?????

Sounds like they need to be removed from the department before someone holds the Town, Parish or even the State responsible for their actions.

Yea they are goin to hurt someone if something is not done about this. Contact the chief or sherrif and let them know how you feel. These 3 idiots are really gonna hurt or even kill someone. I just pray they dont...

Well has anyone heard what is happening with the Crooked cop situation in Many? I guess this will die as well as everything else has.

Look at all you people!!! "I heard" or "I hear"! If parents would raise their children right, the cops wouldn't have to harass them! Keep your kids in line so the law doesn't have to! What kind of parents teach their children to disrespect the law?? You people should stop criticizing the men who are trying to protect our town! Shame on you all!!!

The kids cant hang out in town so they go to the woods, then they cant hang out there so tell me what are they suppost to do? The cops are suppost to respect the kids to arent they not run out of the woods with AR-15's that dont even belong to them!!!!

#1, most all the parents have raised their kids s well as they could. I have met many of the kids and their parents in the town of Many, and have alot of respect for them. The problem the Town of Many has is people in uniforms attempting to be a officer of the law. I for one have much respect for the law in Many and Sabine Parish, but I think their are some there that need alot more training, especially when it comes to dealing with minors and teenagers. There isn't any protocal anywhere that say's minors should be stalked and held at gun point with AR-15's for being on someones lease that isn't even marked.
If the Law wants to do something constructive, they need to deal with the Crack heads and Killers in the area, not harass kids for drinking out in the woods. They need to earn the public's respect, so they can be respected, and trusted at anytime of need.

Well well, I hear Mr. Stanley Cook is still working with the Many Police Department. I wonder what it's gonna take before the Town and Parish will do something about the way the Law is done there.

Stop being so negative! And so what if they are a kid! They have the same right to be on here and speak their mind! Anyway, in my opinion something needs to be done about the cooks. Why would it be so neccesary to run up on a bunch of kids with AR-15s? I could understand if they had guns pointing at the police but that wasn't the case. It doesnt matter if kids around here are doing anythang wrong or not in the eyes of the cops around here they are!! Im just really glad that it wasnt my child that had a gun pulled on them out there and got poked with a gun, because i would demand that something be done and i wouldnt stop till they all lost there jobs!!!!!!
