She's probably testing our Justice System to be exploited for nefarious purposes. She might be one of those converts. Ever been around somebody who just got religion or quit smoking? Oh how they are so "Holier-Than-Thou" Assimilate or Vacate!

Finally an AMERICAN. It was that shopkeepers RIGHT to do that. Has everyone forgotten our "RIGHTS AS AMERICANS". Why do you think that "Veiled Muslim woman" is here to begin with. I see signs everywhere in convenient stores that say "NO HOODS OR BACKPACKS ALLOWED". Even though they are not from this country and don't have to pay business taxes for 7 yrs. No thanks to our president (and yes lower case on that p) It is still their right to present that. I see this country rotting from the inside out and it makes me sick. All this "P.C" crap is getting ridiculous. The media is the root of it all. I SAY KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SHOPKEEPER!!!

What has happened to OUR culture....Always giving in to some freak from the Middle East. Everyone seems to forget WE Are In America. Your muslim cultures come second. Shut up. By the way, a shop keeper or ANY business has the right to refuse service to ANYONE. I support the business owner...he has no explaining to do.

I shop regularly at that market, and I have never seen a disturbance such as this woman describes. However, I must say that if I had run into a person with a full face mask/veil/whatever, it would have scared the you-know-what from me, and I would have departed immediately. Perhaps, that is the owner/manager's point: allowing one person to dominate everyone else is just somehow wrong. Why do I, as a born American, have to experience fear in the marketplace just to satisfy another person's nebulous grasp of religion? I do not think I should have to tolerate it.

So?

If she wants to wear a disguise or a mask, she needs to wait for Halloween.

She was probably stealing stuff. He should have made her undress.

You may like this better than HP's juvenile website.

It's not nearly so busy but it has lots of boards from which to choose.

It is operated by a national media chain and provides message boards for tens of thousands of small town media outlets.

I'm using JT in DFW because that is what I used to use before I registered. I only registered so you could find me.

The things I do for you...

BTW, I could read all those deleted comments and you have a valid complaint. There was nothing in your comments that should have caused concern.

But, that's the same thing they did to me when I first started and why I stopped commenting for a few months.

She hasn't done it in a long time, but I used to have my own moderator who deleted everything I posted, regardless what it was.

If I posted it, it got deleted.

But that only occurred at a certain time of day, usually late afternoon or early evening, so I know it was the same person.

Probably one of the perverts they hire to be moderators.

They still occasionally delete my comments, but it's rare. I could post anything you posted and it would still be posted, just like you said.

I have no idea what their rules are because they don't follow their own rules. All I know is they appear to have been established and enforced by a group of 12 year old girls.

In parts of the middle east, even an American woman has to wear a veil. It's their culture. Ours is not to wear one.
I'm so proud of the shopkeeper. We need our rights back.

Yes, it is the same for my comments. It seems like it is at a certain time, or a particular article. Like each person is assigned to certain stories or something, and the person assigned to that particular story will delete EVERYTHING I say.

And yes, it does seem like it's enforced by a group of 12 year old girls. Very immature.

No, I mean that my participation on HP is a day by day situation.

I do not like the way they run that website nor do I like their censorship policies.

According to Alexas, a web site traffic monitoring website, it take over 9 seconds for HP to load a page. That is an eternity in relation to loading a webpage.

HP doesn't seem to care, they want to post all those useless pictures because it must look pretty to them.

The ONLY reason they have the traffic they have is because Arianna promotes it on radio & tv. She is a guest on some talk show at least once a week so the website gets lots of exposure.

Too bad HP can't afford competent help and has to rely on Arianna's relatives (12 year old nieces) to operate the website.

Also, my anti-virus software (Windows new free a/v software) caught a virus attempting to infect my computer last Saturday morning when I visited HP.

Even though the a/v software caught it, I'm not sure that it did not infect my computer because my computer has been doing some very odd things it was not doing before. Various devices stop working, including K/B, mouse & network controller and the machine locks up for no reason.

I reformatted my hard drive and it still does it.

My machine may be breaking down, but I am moving away from HP. If they cannot prevent people from using their website to spread viruses, I'm not going to participate.

But, I did not attempt to post that warning on the site due to their censorship. I could not tell you why I was leaving for the same reason.

I think you should use Ima Shrew.

:-)

It is ridiculous how long it takes for a page to settle down and quit bouncing around. Never seen anything like it. And those pictures hurt my eyes. I avoid the top of the page.
