Richland County dog warden goes solo

Why is the county now deciding to get rid of dog wardens, do they not realise that a dog warden is needed, as there are so many nasty people who THROW both DOGS & CATS OUT when they are ill or had enough of them.

I have had 7 cats in 1 go @ my home as people do not want them & going to drown them, unfortunatly i have only 1 cat now, but all my others & my 1st dog are in my garden & i see them each & every day & they also look @ me as they are facing to my window. I have also got a rescue dog who was thrown out when having pups & when she came to me I had just lost my other dog 4 days earlier, & I am so happy that some kind person found my little dog, & I am a proud owner of her now, even though i have a very nasty neighbour who torments her each time he goes out his back door, this neighbour is very evil as they are against people owning animals.

Local residence in Shiloh might feel different if we lived in mansfield. But since the Dog Wardens won't come up north in Richland county. We wont miss them. We had more than NONE? Sorry we didn't notice... We all understand that the economy is in the pits and not looking better for awhile yet. With this in mind why are addoption fee's so high for adopting a animal from this shelter???? Why isn't the Dog warden and Humain Sociaty in same facility and officer's of both working together? I think the county is in sad financial shape in many area's Police,Sherriff's Dept,Dog Wardens, Humain Sociaty ,Street Departments,Fire,and county offices. Well layoff's is a short term answere, Lets look at fuel cost Police sit around and leave cars idle all day no matter what temp is??? Sherrifs Dept... I wish someone would give me a vehicle to drive back and forth to work???? Dog wardens How often do you see them out picking up animals unless called out on emergencys???? of those 3 things how much money could be saved to help those departments out of this bind?? Court marshal Ed Olsen for his personal andunefficiant spending and unethical decisions in all of these matters? HE SHOULD BE HELD 100% accountable
