The 402 (the old Brennan's & Blackthorne Tavern)

Does anyone know when The 402 will open? This was the old Brennan's and previously Blackthorne Tavern.

I am the former chef of the Blackthorne Tavern. I just want to say what a sad day it was when the tavern was sold. We were not co-workers but family. The owner was the best employer i ever worked for, and to that many thanks.
To Mr, Brennan, change is not always good. You have to truly love what you do to make the restaurant business really work. You did not. Now you have lost everything.

I don't believe I just did this and found this! Doing nothing, I keyworded "The Blackthorne Tavern"....just for old time's sake, for it's my favorite place of all-time. Sharyn, I agree with you 100-fold, for it was the saddest day!! I was a long-time regular who eventually became such good friends with John, the owner, we started hanging out together during his off nights. After he sold it, after months of "boycotting" I guess you could call it, I finally entered Brennans. I did not like the changes and tried to convince him that turning it from the most unique tavern on the eastern seaboard into just another dime-a-dozen sports bar would fail. He wouldn't listen. He failed. He made maybe $10 from me in total, for I never went back again after my 2nd visit. I have no idea what the 402 is, nor do I care. I just want THE old Blackthorne Tavern back again!!!!! I am still on the mailing lists of bands that I fell for there. Memories!!:(
