3 Babs - My family is quite poor, and they are fundamental Christians, so no. My like-minded friends and I however would be more than happy to. Thomas - I'm not quite sure what you mean by "there is no Richard", but I want you to know that just because you don't believe me in me doesn't mean I don't believe in you. Somn and Keith - Thanks for the clear, logical thoughts. Marge - Unlike the men who flew planes into those buildings who worship the exact same god you do (albeit under a different set of circumstances)I don't have any reason to think I will be doing anything after I'm dead. I will simply be dead. There is no god, no heaven, and certainly no hell. Jesus won't ever be back to get you, so get over it and enjoy your life while you still have it. Our forefathers would be sick to know the amount of religious content currently passing through the hands of legislators. I'll end with a quote from James Madison, a man to whom we all owe so much. "And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in shewing that religion and Government will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together" |

1 http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/03-1500... And to those people who refer to that mythical "Separation of Church and State" letter by T. Jefferson: NOTE: Jefferson DID NOT have a part in the writing of the U.S. Constitution, but DID acknowledge The God, writing of our "inalienable rights & their "endowment" within the Declaration of Independence. Read the letter: http://www.usconstitution.net/jeffwall.html The letter has everything to do with keeping government out of religion and nothing to do with keeping religion out of government. |

Hope you enjoy yourself! BTW: Adultery IS grounds for divorce; hence it is a violation of the law - the Ten & the State's. |

1 Opinion of Rehnquist, C. J. SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES No. 03—1500 THOMAS VAN ORDEN, PETITIONER v. RICK PERRY, in his official capacity as GOVERNOR OF TEXAS and CHAIRMAN, STATE PRESERVATION BOARD, et al. ON WRIT OF CERTIORARI TO THE UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE FIFTH CIRCUIT [June 27, 2005] Chief Justice Rehnquist announced the judgment of the Court and delivered an opinion, in which Justice Scalia, Justice Kennedy, Justice Thomas, and Justice Breyer join. The question here is whether the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment allows the display of a monument inscribed with the Ten Commandments on the Texas State Capitol grounds. We hold that it does. http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/03-1500... Any questions on its legality? |

1 I said it was tempting. For a near 80 year old widow woman what's a broken commandment possibly mean? You take yourself way too seriously go find something that makes you happy. |

1 For Christians to be consistent, they would need to ask for only Two Commandments to be posted on state property, the ones Jesus mentioned, "You shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, soul, mind and strength. You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself." Those are shorter and easier to remember. |
