some of the rudest people I've ever met. I'm surprised they lasted this long. They slammed the door in the face of little girls selling girl scout cookies for petes sake. I hope the whole family ends up driving chevette's and eating cheese crackers for dinner every night. Everybody around here knows them as total jerks.

I worked for them for 4 years and they were the absolute RUDEST people to work for! They were selfish and only cared about their BMW's and Lexus's. Now look where it got them.........nowhere and broke!! I think it's hilarious! I always say.......what goes around comes around.....and i believe they're finally getting theirs. I don't feel sorry for them one bit.

They once had me take everything out of my store hide it in a U haul, so the mall we were in couldn't reposes it, and then we put it all back the next day. Needles to say it was a very interesting company to work for......The extreme lack of organizational skills or business sense makes this announcement less than shocking for anyone who knew the family.

I see that they didn't change in the years since I left. Messed up. So many forced to leave or were fired. Big wastes of money. They have to still be well off, bound to have padded thier pockets before all this started. It's a corporation, it falls but they are probably fine. All of those who sold their lives to the company for years: idiiots! You hung on to a sinking boat.

Glad to see the son of a b---h, Mr. T. go down. To bad he has kids just like him. They didn't have a chance growing up around that "A hole". Worst company I worked for but, was out of there years ago. Maybe they will be forced to work for one of us now. I hope I get the chance!

I grew up around the T's I never had any problems with the people. I have been in many of their stores while going up and never had a problem. My best friends aunt was the Store manager at the Bedford, PA store for many years, so I knew that the T's were hard people to work for but she enjoyed it. I was sad when I came back home to the closing sale that they had out at the corp office. However when I went back to Bedford this past Christmas there is a new store in the former American Outfitters. I dont remember the name but it is owned by the T's.

that won't be open long..Wonder how many people they fire atthat store..Wonder if they still have sticks up those butts!! They weren't hard to work for. They just thought they were better than everyone. If they didn't like you ..You were out.
Rude, uncaring, and stuck up..And they just pass it down to the next generation.
American Outfitters was awful because of the owners. If it were sold.It probably would still be open and making money.
New business run by them. That is a joke!I wouldn't work or shop there.I wouldn't even stop to use th bathroom

Where do I even start on the Turkovich's?!?! They think there (you know what) doesn't stink! All of them....even their children. There new store, cove creek outfitters is just as lame as the old store. Only a matter of time until it goes under. There clothing is overpriced, probably b/c they are completely broke and can't afford to put their children through "the best" colleges now. Go to ACM like the rest of us. Their Carhardt clothing is waaaaaaay overpriced. If you want a good deal on work clothes, go to Traditions....very cheap clothes....and the people are Amish and extremely nice, not arrogant, like the T's.
I was once in the old American Outfitters and Mrs. T was in there. She came up to me questioning me about her daughter....haha....she thinks she's sooooo precious, one of the "easiest" girls to graduate from bedford if you ask me. Enough on them....do Bedford a favor and shop somewhere else.

They are stuck up and nasty to work for. Enough said. They treated people like they were worthless..I knew a girl who worked for them. Her first job and the girl was always in tears over that job..Not even worth it. I am glad the store failed because they had no business treating people the way they did. So many people talked about ''why they can't keep a staff''
Watch out they might be taking out orders at the nearest BK ot Golden Arches in Bedford:):)

They were miserable people to work for. The only one that was somewhat nice was Erik. He at least showed some respect for you as a person.

The rest of them are miserable and made my time there a living Hell. Though I usually don't wish bad things to happen, I could say I wasn't surprised. I believe how your company does reflects how you treat your employees. Look at companies like Wegman's. That is a 71 chain food store still family run and owned. They treat their employees well, and are doing well for it.

The T's treated all their employees poorly and it cam back to bite them. The chickens came home to roost. Goood riddance.

American Outfitters = awful company, I worked at one of their locations during school several years ago. It was a completely disorganized company and the owners were really nasty the few times they visited the store.

Not very surprising in hindsight, rich owners with no brains will still equal failure, failure, failure. They don't have what it takes to win.

working for them was horrible.
Tried teaching us the harrass the customers as soon as they walk in the door.
''Hello it is raining out today..would you like me to show you are over priced rain jackets.''

I remember I opened the store a few times.. I was called one night saying there was money missing from the second register that wasn't used all day..so where did the money go..

They called back with ''sorry I counted it wrong''

That is all..Just we counted it wrong.
Awful to work for.
One of the worst jobs I ever had..The worst stuck up snobs ever to work for.......
I am glad they were forced to close the stores.

I shopped there when it was american outfitters, though not to often, The new store, Cove Creek outfitters has a very nice gunshop in the
basement and I have bought items there way below retail price and cheaper than cabelas, midway usa ect. but they have many many high priced guns, Im talking 8000.00 doller cold plated weatherbys and 9000.00 blazer rifles, they dont just have a few either, when a gunshop buys guns they pay for them before they sell them, the bedford area Is not an area to sell 9000.00 rifles, and i predict cove creek will go down as well. If im wrong then pardon my ignorance.

I've only been in their store a couple times when they were in business and it was completely overpriced. One of their daughters were in a grade below me and she was the most stuck up, easiest girl I know. They are all pathetic drunks and ignorant into thinking they are better than all of Bedford. I'm happy to see their business go under, and althuogh this is rude to say hope this one fails also. They don't know how to appreciate what they have therefore they don't deserve success.
