As all who have had the privilege of working with her know so well, Margaret Anderson Kelliher is exactly the sort of person that most Minnesotans will feel very comfortable with as our governor. Her politics reflect a thoughtful and compassionate view of how government should work to protect citizens and promote the common good. One may certainly disagree with her views on issues but she is a person who cares deeply about Minnesota and looks for solutions, not slogans. If you take the time to learn more about what she has to offer Minnesota as our governor, I believe you will find someone who has earned our respect - not childish taunts. ohoh, a nice new civilized person on topix, unaware of the culture of incivility here.

Are you more offended by the "Large Marge" crack or the comment about her being more a part of the problem in Minnesota rather than the solution? You're right, the rhyming wisecrack about her appearance is a cheap shot, however as a politician and public figure, it comes with the territory. As to the comment about her politics, I stand by it. If she and Larry P. did a better job, we would be in a much better budgetary position now and in the next biennium.

It's that wry MN humor right? I have watched broadcasts of state proceedings. She is a bad, bad person. She disrespects anyone who does not agree with her, and does not even try to hide her disdain. She lead the charge with our failure to meet a budget because she could not comprehend that she needed to STOP SPENDING! She is the stereotypical every guys worst case ex-wife. Yeah, that will fly well. But hey, it is Minnesota, if we want to keep up tradition of being politically stupid as usual she will probably win.

I simply am a citizen who is using his/her constitutional right to espouse my opinions on subjects that interest me. There are times when I am very much in the minority here. There are other times that I am in the majority. It really does not matter what team has greater numbers, it matters that a venue for civil discourse is in place here. Calling me a troll is a bit inaccurate. I would think that the person who deserves that label would be one who follows my comments and spews nothing more intelligent than calling me names. Have a nice day there, eh? I have followed your posts, and this is the first one you haven't gone over the top with sniping at the GOP or Conservatives, and now you want a civil discourse because someone tabbed you a troll??? Your right, it is an open forum and you have the right to your opinion, as do the rest of us including the people who think your a troll You have a nice day as well!!
