I have been in healthcare since 1990. My love is Geriatrics, and I have experience in many areas. I recently gave up my full-time job to begin assisting the elderly remain at home longer with support services. I feel that the cost of assisted livings and other home care providers are unrealistic. I am trying to find out the need for services in the mankato area, as well as typical cost of these services. It is my mission to provide a higher quslity of care at a lower price. Any positive feedback will be appreciated.

Is there a need for escorts to medical appointments for the elderly. The escort would include transportation to and from the medical provider and communicating with the family and making sure that specific issues are adressed at these appointments as well as a complete follow-up with the family after the appointment.
I am also interested in providing in home theraputic foot soaks and nail care for the elderly, as they are often unable to complete this task alone.
