You know I don't want to make this a political statement but here is an example folks can adhere by: Same situation same results: Bush\Cheney & company lied and send our children to fight a war of their choosing on the assumption of WMD. A couple thousand brave soldiers died. Where is Bush\Cheny & company?? That's right, sleeping pretty in their million dollar mansion in Texas or still in office. No charges whatsoever and can't be prosecuted for their lies and crimes. Why? because they are in a position of power with powerful people & connection along with immunity. That folks is the same situation we have going on with the police run state. Even when caught on video doing the wrongs to citizens they still deny and get away with it or still at their job. Why? or how? because they can and are immune to punishment by all the higher powers, police unions & lawyers. Even citizens who unknowingly support these few rotten apples can swing the balance their way. I'm sorry to say folks........Can't Do Much You'll just have to defend yourself!!!

No actually got "the kid" to stop assaulting people, and breaking traffic laws, and stopped the kid from hurting someone else. "the kid" which in ur right right... he was a immature lil kid, should of "thought" before he did any of what he did that day. Just wait until the real facts of this story comes out, and the people who have been backing Tyler, I think are gonna feel mighty stupid. You make choices in life, he made the wrong choice that day. Plain and simple.

Dont get me wrong.. I feel totally bad for Tylers family, son and girlfriend.. But the thing people need to understand is.. Tyler didnt just "become" this way... He was raised a certain way... He as a adult knew right from wrong... He had been through the system before, He knew that, if he was arrested that day, he would be placed before the judge again, and placed back on probation. With more severe consequences. Tyler may of not "thought to much into" what he was doing that day, but still in the same sense "knew" what he was doing was wrong. He... Nobody else, made his decisions that day. He played off the friends in the vehicle, the alcohol, the wanting to act like a tough guy, and the wanting to not get caught. He made his choices that day, no one else but the 24 yr old, who should of known better, but didnt. Everyone has choices in this life, whether they are good or bad, evil or good. In some way, sooner or later you will pay the consequenses of the decisions u make each and everyday. Do I believe tyler is rotting in hell for the bad decisions he made in his life? No.... I think there is a higher power who lets people see and change their ways, and forgives. Tyler made some bad decisions that day. But everyone does, that how people grow and learn, its life. But what people take from a tradegy like this, is up to them I pray for everyone involved in this, I feel for everyone involved. I feel bad someone lost their life. I feel bad that someone had to make the decision and now live with taking someones life. But like I said.. we arent god...

Sorry it cut me off But like I said we arent god, we cant go and fix things. We cant fix Tyler for being the way he was, we cant fix the decisions he made that day....We cant go back ... and bring him back and arrest him instead. I think alot of people should clean off their doorstep first, before judging the reasons this happened. No one deserves to die, and I am dang sure.... this officer wasnt or isnt very happy about having to make a decision to take someones life. Stop trying to protect Tyler.. He knew that day .. every thing he did.. what he was doing was wrong, he knew the things in his past were wrong.. But it was UP TO HIM to change himself, and stop the cycle within himself. He was a adult with a child. But he sure wasnt acting like a adult.

WTF! I know this kid and this cop personally, This cop was in the wrong! 150% The fact that you say that you lived in Kasota tells me that even you would have known who Officer Waldron was. He patroled the town for almost 13 years. Everyone in the town knew who he was including Tyler and his friends. That was not the first time that they had encountered each other. Tyler's so called "friend" that was all over the news for sure knew who Waldron was seeing as he has been in trouble before and Office Waldron was the one that did the call. Tyler was distant family and no angel. He did not deserve to die, but if I would have been in the officers position I would do whatever I had to to survive. Tyler chose to fight with a cop and he ultimately paid the price for it. And Waldron has to live with his decision to shot him the rest of his life. It is a lose-lose situation for everyone.

Yes.. but you need to think about that statement that Tyler's so called "friend" that was all over the news probably didnt remember Todd because he was high or drunk when he "met" Waldron ..:) You have to remember who we are dealing with here. And gosh I seem to remember this "so called friend" ALSO has a history of ASSAULT, weird isnt it? and hmmmmmmm... whats interesting is that when the Anoka Co Attorney Office comes out with some of this information... I am positive some of these so called Tyler lovers will have a hard time explaining alot of their "so called statements". But until then friends of Tyler.. go ahead and have another drink, snort or hit, to try to make up more lies and stories

So far i've read in all these post everything from a girl getting shot in the leg, three bullets hitting Tyler, swimming at an apartment, drugs in the victim, etc., OH MY no wonder how rumors get started. I'll tell you what, i am friends with the sheriff and i am related to Tyler. But unfortunately witnesses statements from Tylers friends dont look so good. They say he was stood up and backing off and then the sheriff shot him. do you know that through ballistics you can tell pretty much the exact distance between the muzzle of a weapon and the entry hole in the target. and according to ballistics he was alot closer than "standing up and backing away". Do you know that half of the people there got out of the car and started running when the sheriff got out of his car. Why run if they didnt know who he was. they say he did a traffic violation, i would say more like reckless driving. Going off road, up the old Kasota sledding hill. Who does that? Maybe a 14 year old , but 24? And what are the chances of a passer by seeing the struggle and stopping, who does not know the sheriff, and can have the same story as him. Very lucky for the sheriff, and there were witnesses at the scene who had different storys than Tylers friends. It is truly sad what happened to Tyler, but i would hate to see the rest of another mans life ending up in prison due to lies and B/S. I know more but cant go into details on this. The Sheriffs Dept. is going to due a press release on Nov. 24 2009 involving the evidence in the investigative file.

Don't speed and drive erratically while under the influence and attack a cop who has a gun while having a violent criminal record as long as your arm and you won't get shot. That simple.

Where have all the loons that were screaming for justice gone? Justice has been served! Why no more yelling that Waldron was a murderer??? As I said in previous posts, "remember what you tell an investigator, there are probably other people that saw what happened also!" How convenient it was for his friends to leave out bits of relevant information, or exaggerate the distances, etc. Everyone jumped on the "Tyler Bandwagon" and you all look like idiots now. Your haste, and misinformation led you to believe something you knew nothing about. How about the protests? Maybe all the cops should get their lawnchairs and coolers and sit outside of your houses like you did at the Courthouse, just to protest what complete idiots you are (and they'd be right). Also, reading the story in the Mankato paper about no charges being filed the Manderfield Family thinking that charges should be filed, etc. and the other saying she was in "shock" that no charges were filed.... Here's something that "shocked" me. They know this kid, and then allow their 16 year old daughter to be swimming with him, and even worse allowing their 13 year old son to ride in the car with him (alcohol involved). Hell yes, I'd be shocked... Why is someone allowing a 16 and 13 year old to hang around with a 24 year old????
