I have to agree with Roy on this one. Newspapers have always been politically biased, and for the most part have been the mouthpieces of the political machines in the largers cities like New York and Chicago. They should actually change their names to opinion papers rather than news papers.

I love daylight savings time, people that work all day get to come home and have a few hours left to enjoy the sunlight, plus we are able to do what they need to do outside when it is light. I hate it when we turn the clocks back! Some of us go to work in the dark, and come home in the dark.
Completely agree. Can't do anything outside now. Too dark when I get off work. Could care less if it's light out when I'm on my way to work.

BO is on it!

The insurance companies' profit is around two percent. I work for a major grocery store, I was a manager, and our profit was two percent. Should we shut down all the grocery stores because they're making too much money?

I hear he's got a new union that will run all the grocery stores. "One bag per person" is gong to be his theme! Get angry America!

The Saga of J*A*C*K*A*S*S Joe, Chapter 203.

Apparently, JA couldn't find Ohio, even with the hint I gave him about the lake. Oh well, it seems good ole JA did indeed find one of those "shovel-ready" jobs in his home state. Bursting with pride, JA jumped in his limo and headed to the White House to spread the good news. To his great surprise, BO wasn't at home. He was told by the butler, a strapping lad by the name of Kearnes, that the master was over comforting his good buddy in NJ who apparently lost his governor job last night? Oh, poor baby!! Not to worry, JA will be posting his newly found job on the website, so look for it at www.shovel-ready-jobs.com !

More Smoke and Mirrors!

Seems like those crafty left-wing slobs in Congress and the White House pulled another fast one on us. Yes indeed, seems like BO's nifty cash for clunkers, was just that--a clunker!! Oh it gave folks thousands of dollars to trade in their old trucks for new trucks, thus keeping more jobs for those loyal unionists at Government Motors and guarenteed that they and probably those of you who got the cash would vote for these left-wing dirt-bags in the future----BUT it was sold to us by that Clown in the White House as being very green, a way to take gas-guzzlers off the highway. Lies again from Mr. Clown in the whitehouse!! It was simply guzzlers for guzzlers and another handout to the free-ride crowd!! Get angry America!!

Three friends traded their gas guzzlers for a new gas guzzler. Those Ford F-250s are real economy vehicles when you use nitrogen in the tars!!!

<quoted text>I agree 100%, but if they want that to work they better get the ball moving. I am not a democrat supporter by any means. I just want the economy to come back strong reguardless who's in office. If Obama can turn the economy around he is a 2 term preisdent. If it continues to stagnate, he will be out . Plain and, simple!
Not necessarily, a lot depends on the Health care bill to. Folks are not going to like their HC insurance rates going up. Those without insurance are not going to like the IRS saying pay me for not have insurance even though the penalty doesn't come anywhere near the cost of actual insurance.

Then there is cap and steal from the Americans (Trade). Didn't you hear today Fox had a report on the Yucca Mountain Nuclear waste repository. Pres Obama closed the $13 billion facility as soon as he could issue the executive order back in Jan or Feb. Yet every companies that participated in the cost of the facility are still paying $750 million a year and are not getting anything but a mess to sort out. Now the United States has no place to store spent nuclear waste. This man and his thugs want to destroy this country every way he can and our dump arss Congress is helping him. What do you bet the rest of the news media wont say anything about the problem. Nuclear represents 20% of electricity production in the US. Want to see real trouble, just keep that facility closed and watch the nuclear plants around the country shut down over the next few years. Nuclear and hydro are the two cleanest reliable forms of electricity generation. Go figure, thanks for nothing good President Obama.

<quoted text>That is also why the tax increases to pay for Obamacare will not hit us until 2013, after Obama has tried to win his second term.

Yes, but the fees for Cadillac plans will start as soon as Pres. Obama signs any version of a HC bill. The people without insurance will start paying penalties to the IRS as soon as it passes. Then 5 years later the gov. ramps in providing HC at the rate of 33% of people per year. That is the only what the Congress could make the bill work so when the CBO scored it for it's first 10 years it would come in less than $900 billion. Heaven help us in the second ten years when everything financial is going on at the same time. The House plans on voting on their version of the bill that they added a bunch of pages to today Friday or Saturday. Now is the time to call and e-mail Harry Teague and tell to say no to this craziness. Tomorrow in Wash.DC there is going to be a tea party at the capital and the people putting it on have ask people that can't make it to WDC to at least call or go to the local office of your congressman tomorrow and let them have your opinion.

So, here we go again. All those crooked lawyers in Congress have concocked another missle called Nazi's 2,000 page stairway to heaven! Heaven for the lawyers who will continue to reap BILLIONS and BILLIONS in Fees and Heaven for the Pharma and Healthcare companies (Now where did Mrs. BO work?) who will rake in BILLIONS more. Yes, it took those crafty left-wing dirt-bags 2,000 pages to make this thing like like a sweet little poodle, when it's simlly a gigantic, sweating PIG in disguise!! Get Angry America!!
