if more people would just tell the truth then people would move on. until the lies stop and all the people are held accountable for the scamming of our soldiers then maybe junction city can let the criminals go to jail, pay fines and make restitution to our soldiers and let another mark on the city fade away till the next story comes along.

Car Dealers do not want to use the MILES program for financing if they can avoid it. If a customer is able to be approved through another source they do not use the MILES program.
The dealer cannot control what a customer's credit score is. The reason the interest rate is higher is because customers with bad credit or no credit represent a higher risk to the lender.

yes i agree, but when dealers "overbook" or put "phantom options" on basic vehicles it shoots the price up of the vehicles then dealer pockets the moneys from this. then when owner goes to trade the car isn't worth what they paid for it at all. that's theft.

Sometimes you just gotta try to help the customer anyway you can as the finance companies always screw you anyway they can to make a buck. I don't think it's the car dealership who is the bad guy in this. The MILES program needs to be shut down and should be condemned for it's practices. They are the real ones hurting our military and making more money than you ever imagined. Don't use that program. No matter where you purchase your car -there are better finance options for you. Say no to MILES!

sad to see this topic not being discussed any further. i hear a few people are hurting over this mess and families are going without. needles to say we sure don't see to many employees from dick edwards auto plaza out and about. when will the truth of all the people involved come forward and settle this with dignity? oh i forgot others have their hands full with other legal matters as well.

Dealers sure have control over charging for options that are not even on the car, don't they?
Which means they are taking the customer for a ride; no pun intended.

I live in JC. Once I tried to buy a car from Dick Edwards Auto Plaza. They give me so much BS I swore I would never buy a car from them. I buy almost all my my cars from Holm in Abiline now. If any one knows I sent the link to the DU and to Ford and have the email response to prove it. I do think the DU dragged there feet. I think Mr Johnson was right about them resigning. Nearly $4000 in Tax Dollars spent in Manhattan because I did not want Dick Edwards bending over backwards to pick my pocket.

The only Rock Bottom they will ever see is the Customer service they provide.

My husband recently traded in his used, piece of crap vehicle into dick edwards so he could get a new car.. they gave him 4500 for his vehicle which had a cracked windshield, messed up brakes, and so much more! then they turned around, didn't fix anything just vaccumed the car, and sold it for over 10 grand.. I would stay away from that place if I were you guys..

Watch out for "Tricky" Ricky Roberts. He's the Sales Managers at "Trick" Edwards. A buddy of mine bought a car there about a year ago. LEMON ALERT! LEMON ALERT! Tranny went out about 3 months later. "Tricky" Ricky told him it was a local trade-in. B.S. ALERT! B.S. ALERT! Come to find out, it was one of them hurricane Katrina flood cars that was bought on auction! "Tricky" said there was nothing he could do about it, since it was out of the warranty! WATCH OUT!!!

Dick Edwards is a real old school crooked car dealer. He only wants your money and only keeps employees with his way of thinking. That is the way it is here. Jim Clark and Russell Briggs included. As a matter of fact it is hard to find any car dealer these days with any honesty at all. After all, the cars these days are no better on gas and cost ten times as much as they did 20 years ago. The crooked car companies need these dealers to "sell" their junk.

Bought a car with the Ole tricksters assistance a few years ago. What a nightmare it became and will never do it again.......ever

I think the Fort Riley General should put dick edwards OFF LIMITS!

Every car I have had from there that was working fine, when I brought it to them for maintenance, all they did was break it. There service department is totally incompetent. They should just get trained monkeys and put some dick edwards shirts on them.

Now for a piece of advise: DON'T buy a kia from there or you will regret it. Why? Because the engine in every kia needs to have the timing BELT replaced at around 60,000 miles. So? Here's what will happen, you take in your perfectly good running kia to their service department to have this routine maintenance, timing belt replacement, done. When you go to pick up your car when it is complete, look out! Parts missing, parts reinstalled incorrectly, parts falling off, unusual sounds not present before the service, etc, etc. Now, just try to get all that fixed. Good Luck. And if you think you're just going to stroll to another kia dealer to get it done, then you'll be strolling to Topeka because that's where the next closest kia dealer.

Same losers lying, same @sses showing their stupid sides. Wow how quick everything gets turned around. This is about the theft that happened and there is only one left working that needs to be booted out on his lying stealing @ss. i came back to town again and herd all the same crap that was going on last month. got a complaint about service open a service discussion or open a complaint on kia. focus on the topic at hand on this thread.
