Cascade Windows does not have any warrranty service in Southern California. Cascade Windows refuse to come out and fix my broken windows. Cascade Windows warranty does NOT cover labor or glass breakage. The window dealer I bought them from said they came with a lifetime warranty. They don't have one. The window dealer does not offer any warranty either. Don't recommend Cascade Windows.

Rick I am having the same problem with Cascade Windows. I have had Cascade Windows in my home for about a year and am having problems with the glass fogging up in a few windows and some of the locks not working correctly. Cascade Windows service department told me they don't service my area and their in no labor warranty. Cascade is in the state of Washington and don't have any service people in California. Not very happy with them.

Cascade Windows do not have a labor warranty. Read the warranty on their website please. They don't have glass breakage either. Without labor Cascade Windows are cheaper then other brands. Cascade Windows are great if your going to sell your house since you won't be the one paying if the windows need fixing. These are low end builder grade windows.

Cascade Windows have zero customer service for California homeowners. Cascade Windows have given me the run around and finally said they don't cover the labor to fix it. Still waiting on the replacement parts they said they would ship.

Don't Recommend Cascade. When I bought these windows last year I was told they were good windows and have a lifetime warranty. I have since found out they aren't good windows and I have to pay for someone to fix them. Paying twice for windows is not something I want to do but am forced to do.

I would like to help anyone that has had problems with Cascade Windows products by connecting them with the right resource. We have made mistakes in the past and will make them in the future, but we are committed to providing excellent products and service.

Are warranty states that the product will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for the original homeowner of an owner-occupied single-family residence for which the Cascade Windows' product(s) are initially installed for as long as the original owner owns and occupies the home.

We do not cover improper handling, installation, maintenance or operation not in conformance with Cascade Windows installation instructions.

Please feel free to call me with any questions.

Your answer isn't making me feel good about your windows. When someone says we have made mistakes in the past and will make them in the future it tells me they don't stand behind their product. The salesman said Cascade windows are the best but all I can find on the internet are people that have had problems with Cascade windows.

I am a Regional Territory Manager for Cascade Windows covering Arizona and Southern Nevada. I would encourage anyone who is having an issue with warranty or any other issue concerning Cascade Windows, to contact the supplying dealer for the name and cell number of your Regional Territory Manager. My fellow RTMs and I will do whatever followup is needed to insure that our dealer's customers are taken care of. Please note that Cascade is responsible for the quality of the windows we supply, not for the installation. We are always interested in making sure that our dealer network is doing a great job of representing the Cascade brand. You can always contact Cascade at 800-442-8544 to get the name of your RTM if you feel you are getting less than stellar service from your dealer. There is no reason for anyone to feel shorted by Cascade.

I am trying to decide whether to use Cascade windows in my new construction home right now and I'm not seeing much positive feedback on the internet. I live in WA state. Is there a labor warranty on these? Are they low end builder grade windows? I was told they are of high quality. I'm so confused.

Shannon--Cascade's Winpro and Cascade lines are Commercial rated windows using highest quality PPG LowE glass. We absolutely warrant our windows for life to the original purchaser. For more info, please contact my associate Brian Stimson who is Regional Territory Manager for the Seattle area. He can give you more info and steer you to his authorized dealers. Thank you for your interest in Cascade Windows.

That's kind of a general statement. Please call 800-442-8544 and ask for Kelly Peek. He is your Regional Manager and should be able to handle any specific issues you might have.

We ended up going with another window company. Our contractor had placed a huge order just a week before ours for a commercial building he's also doing and apparently Cascade messed up their order pretty badly so he didn't want to order with them again. I can't comment on the quality of the windows, but just the service. Thanks.

I am considering Cascade Window now.. but these posting really worries me. I have to consider my options with my contractor. Sorry.. to see Cascade Windows is having so much problems.. I think all these messages posted here point to one common problems.. Windows may not be made to last and poor workmanship is evidence. How can a poor installation job affect the the window fogging? I used to work with Window manufacturers like Certainteed, Milgard, Mikron on their window extrusions. I have some knowledge in the extrusion of window manufacturing.
Convince me how Cascade will make better windows?

Eric--Please call Cascade at 800-442-8544 and ask for your Regional Territory Manager, Brian Stimson. He can answer your concerns. Cascade is the only vinyl window manufacturer that is actively expanding, having recently acquired Empire Pacific Windows. The others are downsizing. There are very good reasons why this is so and they are not negative. Also, I will tell you that all manufacturers have the occasional seal failure. If you are the original purchaser and you have a seal failure, IT WILL BE REPLACED. (Some manufactured housing applications have limited time frames, but most are lifetime)

I have ordered and installed quite a bit of empire pacific/cascade windows in the Los angeles area. I have not had any major issues or warranty problems. Deliveries have been on time and quality has been good for the price. I've had a couple of screens missing on a couple orders but were taken care of promptly. Considering a couple of screens over a span of hundreds of windows, that's not bad considering other experiences I've had with other manufacturers. I've had a patio door screen damaged upon delivery and cascade was able to send someone out to install a new screen since I felt my company should have to absorb the cost of sending my installer after the initial install.

I don't know of a Window manufacturer that has been perfect on every window produced. So I have no problem trusting in cascade in the future. All of my clients have been happy with the product and happy with our installs. I find that 90% of all window failures, is due to improper installation. Just remember that there isnt a single company out there that isn't perfect. My experience with cascade, along with a few other companies have been great.
