Wasn't Manhattan Beach almost named Peck Beach? It came down to a coin flip, or so we were told in MB schools about 20 years ago.

Sad to see what San Pedro has turned into these days. San Pedro holds a lot of historical points related to the history of the South Bay and California. It is unfortunate what the area has turned into! Definitely not what the founding fathers desired for the area!

What about the "Sassy Lassy" owned by Jennie Lee or the "Irish Mafia" owned by Kenny Andrews. Those were classy Clubs.

I don't think the founding fathers were around when california was established dumbass. another typical southbay white-flighter trying to deny the true racist history of the south bay.
