Who stole flag and viewer?

yeah - or he'll burn a cross in your yard - or perform a lynching. whoever stole this stuff - you are a lawbreaker. everyone is entitled to free speech , no matter how offensive and misguided- give the bigot his stuff back.

you know as soon as I saw this article I knew there'd be a post like OMG's. And I'm sure it won't be the last. The point is its his personal property and nobody has the right to take it. Even if it is offensive to some. Would it be okay if a someone stole a statue of Mary from a Catholic's yard? Or stole a menorah from a Jew's window? Or a poster of Malcom X from a black guy's house? Each one of these things could be offensive to someone.

Does it really matter what was taken? it is the fact that they stole his property. Yes, it is sad and disgracful that he had that hanging in his yard, BUT freedom is what the USA is all about.and stealing is against the law...

Wow who says this guy is a bigot? The conf. flag is part of history. I've seen black people with conf. flags, because it’s a part of their history. What about when the reenactment comes to town. Are all the people dressed up as confederate soldiers flying the flag racist?
It's not like he had a black face dummy hanging by its neck from a tree. Now that would be a bigot action. It sounds like he had a Halloween display set up in his yard and some punks thought it would be fun to take his stuff.
I have a neighbor that sets up like 30 snowmen in the winter. Last year someone stole a bunch of them. Maybe they don’t like people who are white? Or maybe they have something against x-mas? Or maybe they are just punks that don’t know how to keep their hands to themselves.
Stop tolerating these punks’ actions because you don’t like what was stolen.
