All things considered this is the best restaurant in Clay County. Everyone else is a distant 2nd. I call it Clay County's affordable "Cracker Barrel". They have great food, reasonable prices, and super nice hard working people. I'll guarantee if you try them that you will go back.

They also do take out meals. Where else can you get a meat, 2 sides, a drink and a desert for $6? They make some of the best Chicken & dumplings I have ever ate.

That's why SE KY is so unhealthy they don't know what good healthy home cooked food is. If I wanted to hide something where you couldn't find it I would put it in your oven.

well wrote: You two must work there! self advertising is pitiful! No I don't work there. If you will give them a try, I'm sure you would make a positive post for them also. Some people just have a bad life and want to bring others down with them. These people are just poor hard working folk trying to make a living instead of letting the government keep them up. I'm for building up hard working people. We sure could use a lot more of them around here. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it.

It is a great place to eat and I don't work there either. I was there to eat the other day and the older lady that does the cooking was telling us that they also served breakfast and two men across from me said what time do you open for breakfast and she told them but I don't remember what time she said any way they said that they had to go to Knoxville TN. and that they WOULD be back for breakfast the next morning. I have only two complaints with Aunt Bea's 1. Is that they get low on food after 3:00pm or so and 2. Is they need more parking spaces. Them people sure know how to cook yum yum. I thought the salmon patties were good but I ate the tender loins with cabbage and some soup beans and corn bread and boy was it good. That tender loin was lean and tender, again I say yum yum.
