Yep, you just described the teapublican party. You have been bad mouthing the Tea and Republican Party,so just a thought for you.One--the Tea Party is not the Republican Party. It is seperate but tries to work inside the Republican(conservative) Party. It would make no sense to even try to work inside the Democratic(liberal-progessive )party. Two--not everyone is of a like mind as the one that is picked out as Republican. We all have different ideas as to Christianity, morals, honesty. It is like, illegal is illegal,or,rape is rape,or criminals are ones that break the law! It is obvious you know of the mispoke speeches of one or two goof balls, but what about the others?Such as Biden`s "put you`all in chains",or,Obama`s "you did not build it ,gov`t did?" No one can make anyone else be only as you would want it,and, hindsight is soooo wonderful.

Just for the fun of it,let`s put in some thoughts as to what the Republicans really do want. Ryan`s plan is basically to privatize the medicare by allowing the over 55 crowd stay on medicare, just the same as they have now, then allow the future retirees to choose. The gov`t would subsidise buying private insurance (premiums),but the gov`t would have no choice in your medical nor any voice in what medical you got of needed. You would be in control ,with your Dr.`s advice.By having your own choice of Insurance Company, and insurance policy, you could purchase what coverage you ,your family, needed.Since you have to pay for medicare ,if you get it and at retirement, you now would get a subsidy to pay for the insurance premium ,so no extra cost to the retiree.AND,no real change in medical payments to Drs.and hospitals, but it would be paid by the Insurance.Basically ,putting the retiree in charge! The gov`t would only be in charge of sending out subsidy checks,

What has been discussed is a Fair Tax,dropping the corporate rate down to make it feasible for Corporations to come back to America,or,to open up plants here. There is nothing fair in having the loopholes, having different rates for different wages! Now this IS what IS on the minds. As far as dog catcher,we stopped using that term years ago. It's Animal control now! I merely pointed out that your quips and attempts at wit directed toward my friends, were vulgar and not in the least bit humorous! So apparently comedy is not your strong suit either. Perhaps whoever blew smoke up your a$$ should be fined for cruelty to...well you! Good Luck,Jesco...Good Luck you're going to need it!

Yes,he does want to change it for the ones young enough to need something when they will be of retirement age.For the ones already there, nothing changes. For you younger,it would put you in charge of your own, give you the money to purchase the insurance coverage you need and wanted for your self and,or,family. It is always best when you are in charge of getting the best. So,Obama is correct when he says"Ryan would fundamentally change medicare as we know it"Obama will cause it to run out of money,it will not be able to keep on as it is,and you would not have it when you retire,(if you ever worked ).So,it would be far better to have something, than to be left holding an empty bag. You may not be able to comprehend, but putting the individual in charge of his/her own,or a person there to do for the incompetent,is far better that being left with nothing.
