The average income for people who work for a living is 26,000 dollars a year. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see this is a disastrous situation. Those getting handouts from the government for nothing are getting more than the people who get up and go to work every goddam day. Stop the insanity. There are no poor people in the United States. Perhaps if we stopped giving people something for nothing, there would develop a class of poor people in the US, and more people would make the choices that prevent poverty. As a result, there would be less poverty. Government handouts is not the answer. But, that’s the only answer the Democrats have. Take from those who work and give to those who don’t work. ABO. You are my subjects....please don't VOTE me out? You forgot to answer the post. Here's the main point again. by the way, stop smoking so much AK47. Try smoking Northern Lights when you're posting here. There is nothing in the Constitution that gives the president the authority to issue decrees and edicts to the people. Therefore, if it doesn't specifically give that authority, according to the principles of the Constitution, by default he cannot do it. Americans are not subjects to anyone. The President does not have the Constitutional authority to issue commands to the people in edicts and decrees.

Conservatives hate the constitution. They hated the constitution so much that they ordered the USSC to throw it out so bush could be appointed. They hate all the parts about rights for all people, when they want only the rich to have rights. If you disagree, tell my how you rationalize supporting bush and his complete disregard of the constitution. Tell me why you think the USSC should be filled with extreme partisan politicians like Scalia, Roberts, Thomas and Alito. The conservative's darling on the USSC, Scalia, openly stated the constitution is like plastic man. It can be made to mean anything. Apparently it can be made to mean contradictory things simultaneously as in his ruling for bush vs Gore.

You mentioned 4.What about the others that are definitely not conservative and were appointed for that reason?Maybe many of us are naive and poor at considering what this SCOTUS will do,but it is our last resort.Obummer got his appointments, maybe they will not believe in the Constitution? My thinking is that between the two idealogies, there is some truth and they will seek it out. All of this said, what is going to be our direct downfall will be this tremendous debt hanging over our heads, and this administration and Congress are just playing games .Both parties and the President must come together and cut out the spending. They seem not to have the desire. For that reason ,many of us out here, want the entire group changed. No more long ,so called servants of the people, life time jobs,in Congress. They get too embeded in collecting money, making money, keeping their jobs. For this reason, the Tea Party was started. No,we do not want to lose the honest, morally good people.Just the dead wood that puts the Party and keeping their jobs uppermost as the thing to do.We must have agreement as to the advancement of the Nation, neither Party nor persons should come between that purpose.Vote Tea Party.

Can`t really say he is uneducated, but agree on the numbskulls part. U and others are also paying this writer on SS# as worked and paid into it for years,so have no compunction on with drawing some.Guess he has seen about all my criticism of Obummer and this administration, he would want to see. My problem is also the simple fact none of our leaders except the Tea Party ones lately voted into office seem to have any urgency to change this system. When out of money, don`t go into more debt one can not pay off.Cut back on the spending.

This is too good... Be sure to check out where the "quote" came from. The Quote of the Decade: “The fact that we are here today to debate raising America 's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that,'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.” ~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006 ~ Americans deserve better! OBAMA: OneBigAssMistakeAmerica

We have a new problem now.Newsmax has it out that Obummer is cutting the hazardous pay unless the soldiers are in the direct line of enemy fire.Being over seas, being in a foreign country, but not getting shot at,means the pay of the military person will be cut by $225 per month for that hazardous duty pay..Lots more than we got back then, but not much to have to be shot at now.And the service families have counted on this to survive.Obummer strikes again!!!!!

WASHINGTON (Reuters)- The White House announced plans on Monday to help "Arab Spring" countries swept by revolutions with more than $800 million in economic aid, while maintaining U.S. military aid to Egypt. In his annual budget message to Congress, President Barack Obama asked that military aid to Egypt be kept at the level of recent years --$1.3 billion -- despite a crisis triggered by an Egyptian probe targeting American democracy activists. The proposals are part of Obama's budget request for fiscal year 2013, which begins October 1. His requests need the approval of Congress, where some lawmakers want to cut overseas spending to address U.S. budget shortfalls and are particularly angry at Egypt. Obama proposed $51.6 billion in funding for the U.S. State Department and foreign aid overall, when $8.2 billion in assistance to war zones is included. The "core budget" for the category would increase by 1.6 percent, officials said. Most of the economic aid for the Arab Spring countries --$770 million -- would go to establish a new "Middle East and North Africa Incentive Fund," the president said in his budget plan. A total waste!

How can the corps hire anyone if we don't give them all our money? And how could democrat administrations borrow money from SS and then use their accounting tricks (that would get any accountant other than a federal government accountant arrested)to make it look as if there is a surplus during their time in office? The government uses the mindset that if they borrow SS money from themselves then they really don't have to count that money even though it has to be paid back at some point and time in history. Clinton did it and claimed he left a surplus. If the national debt goes up you have a deficit. You can cook the books but in reality there was no surplus. Bush did it. Obama is doing it. The CBO turns their heads and allows it and the public fights over how SS dollars are used. The politicians laugh all the way to re-election. Clinton, Bush and Obama. When will we ever learn? The guy (politicians) you are fighting for and supporting is conning you and me and everybody else. None of them have to worry about how SS dollars are used and all the accounting tricks allowed to make their terms look good...they are taken care of. It's sort of like insider trading. You can practice insider trading and get filthy rich...if you are a politician. I guess all of you are so rich you don't have to worry about what really goes on in Washington...as long as your guy wins. They are all crooks and they are all making money off of us and you people are backing them up on taking even more tax money from Americans so they can make themselves look good. It should be mandatory that all voters have to study the deficit and the National debt and the borrowing procedures used by our government and the tricks they have used in the past and are still using. Bet you would change your minds on who you want in the White House.
