Tiffany is not only an intelligent, and driven woman, but she is also beautiful! She is a wonderful representative of not only Bridgeport, but for the entire state of Connecticut.

Why not congratulate a young teenager on working hard and accomplishing her goals? Weren't those the ideas America was founded upon? That each person can create their own destiny? This young girls worked hard and was not only beautiful but considered the "total package" and will be representing all of CT's Teens.

As far as pageants go, they are not demeaning to women. Women CHOOSE to compete, they are not forced, and it is a choice they have the right to make. It is an opportunity to showcase your hardwork both externally and internally. For those of you that don't know, the pageant is equally weighted in 3 categories: INTERVIEW, EVENING GOWN, and, SWIMSUIT. Each category gives a young woman the chance to develop and showcase her different attributes - from intelligence to yes, beauty!

I for one, am so excited for our new Miss Connecticut Teen USA and am proud for CT!!

It's sickening that these young women are paraded around like cattle at an auction and judged solely on their appearance. What mother in her right mind would let her daughter do this? Would you really want your daughter to grow up believing that the only way to get ahead in life is by looking pretty (and even worse, sexy)?

For everyone making comments on here about how degrading beauty pageants are ...okay. awesome.you voiced your opinion. If your so concerned about these girls parading half naked than why don't you go make a sign and go picket or something. If your not going to do something about it then shut up , none of your rude comments are going to do anything but make yourself look envious.
For the comments about bridgeport: I don't personally understand everyones vendetta against bridgeport. There is probably a better chance of dying in Ct's farm towns. & my point is justified by the sick comments you people make about someone you have yet to meet. & BTW being from Bridgeport doesn't make you uneducated, just like being from a wealthier town doesn't make you educated. Please people, do me a favor and go pick up a book and do something with your extra time besides attempt to dishearten a girl who is amazing in every aspect of the word.

It would be great if you new anything about pageants. Pageants are an outlet for young women to extras creativity and be involved in their community in a positive way- as well as promote their platform. It has nothing to do with beauty.
