Good idea! The federal government should start a business owner/operator-employee ombudsman program, where businesses who have more than a certain number of employees will have a federal government ombudsman on premise during business hours and on call at other times and core groups of smaller businesses will have a federal government ombudsman on call 24/7, who make routine visits to worksites, to handle business owner/operator-employee relations and to ensure compliance with federal laws handled by federal agencies such as; ICE, EEOC and OSHA.

This would help to create a more harmonious and safer workplace environment, thereby resulting in a more productive "America".

The Question Is! How Much $$$ Money Is A Good Paying Job?.
In 2005, the Mexican nationals who built Jettas in VW's Puebla production facility, made 27 dollars a day and even though they were making considerably less than their 5 dollar a day counterpart in China the Mexican workers in the Puebla plant were warned that they would possibly have to compete at that level.

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m3012/i...

If US workers were to find themselves working for a range of 5 to 27 dollars a day, this would be a "Good Paying Job" so long as other costs of living such as food, health care, utilities and lodging, fell into place.

Which is why I suggest that the federal government step in and reduce the artifical values of homes to a level that a person making 27 dollars a day could afford such housing. This could be done by a one time payout to property owners by the federal government, for tax credit ammount of up to 99% of the federal government's assessment of the estimated property value. Once the homes were purchased at the federal government's estimated property value, the homes could be administered to workers on a combination of a first come, first served and need's based system.

By rolling back property values in the US so that workers who make 5-27 dollars a day can afford them, this will vitalize the US economy by making the US competitive in the global job market of today, thereby reducing US inflation at the same time.

I hope you're not being serious with that outrageous scenario? But if you are, if you listen to the 9-1-1 tape of Omar's conversation with the police, you will hear IMMEDIATELY that he was NO rocket scientist BY ANY MEANS and probably would have needed assistance dialing 9-1-1 so he must have had it on speed dial. He could NEVER have thought all that up without assistance.

He was millitant during his last 3 jobs and even attempted to play the race card at all of those (and LOST) so THAT is undoubtesly what led this scumbag to MURDER 8 people, not "contaminated kegs". Plus, who were the 2 scumbags he was giving them to? Was it the FDA or the ATF people? NO....it was just 2 scumbags he was making money off of....plain and simple

This program began and it is called "The Union". There once were psychologists and ON-call numbers, which budgetary cuts from politicians over YEARS opted to close for Emergency situations, as people needed to talk out Emotional Distress. The First instances of where to go for help. Does Suicide Prefention still exist, as many of the Crisis, Rape, Abortion, and Abuse Prevention Hotlines, 1-800 ### are that of the Past, or you receive that Loop where one employee may attempt to cover an entire switchboard, with NO psychological training!

VERY SERIOUS!! During the 2008 Presidential Run, Vice Presidential Candidate Palin announced such cuts at Laboratorys where ‘she felt the people could clean and do the job without so much of the oversight’ and Stated that she would use some of her new contacts ‘in the running mix’ to Help the Public regardless of a Win… however she hopes the People see ‘How Hard she Wants to Fight for them’.
This past week PETA announced closures of Animal Research Laboratories, Arizona closed Military base Laboratories, and many more would hide under both of those two as Research and Labs within Military and UIL collegiate centers rely on and are Funded by those paths.
Such Budgetary cuts are NOT alright when Health outbreaks, such as swine flue, H1N1 and other ‘unknown never seen befores’ are apprearing. A New Strain of this and that mixed with Failure of Operations ability to Test and Control Measures is NO Laughing Matter when Peoples Lives are at Risk.
Policy = FDA and ATF would have asked him to locate his own sources for Research and Lab Testing and send them the Reports! I believe in theories of People trying to Fight for what they believe is right, not murdering others, however when Aggravated occurrences occur, there is still opportunity to prevent it repeating, as it Always does somewhere down the road.

Interesting concept, states claiming ownership of rain water. Before you know it the feds will realize that water vapor, that evaporated from the oceans and the Great Lakes (which are fed) fall under interstate commerce and import/export regulatory powers and will then legislate a treasury tax be paid on water collection systems. In the same method that machine guns, sawed off shotguns and silencers are taxed, not to mention federal duck tax stamps for hunting.

The increase of cost per thousand gallons of water in usage from Utilities to 'Customers' is reaching Higher and Higher. In some areas an average Water Sewer and Sanitation bill is in the $80 range; knowing Retirement and Social Security Benefits for many are under $500 per month, there would be Electricity, Medicine, Housing, Food and other needs, this is unnerving, as Water bills have more than doubled in the last decade. Drilling into the water shelf and under plates is becoming more common with earthquakes and rivers slowing, lakes lowering. Taxing fishing in your own private Tank on private property occurring. Where will it go from here?

Ha, I just thought of another concept, if rain water belongs to federal and local governemnt, then a home owner should be able to sue the government when such government property causes damage to the homeowner's property, such as rain or flood damage.

Government programs began along that concept, and are Regulated by FEMA; there to give financial resources and provide housing to those affected by Mother Nature, or their neighbors who implode a dam upstream and cause citys to flood.

'Ombudsman programs' are required and when counseling needs cannot be met onsite facilities, due to the Industry of Business in a field other than mental health, Health Insurance Programs step in. Regardless if individuals have health insurance coverage, which on occasion some individuals 'opt out' as they do not wish themselves or the company to pay premiums when a better play may be offerred with their spouses employer under a Family plan, the Workers Compensation Risk Pools and other Corporate Sponsored programs are available.

Programs available and financed when people are in need.
Outbreaks of disease, natural disasters, and scenarios where people are in need. A Clue; there are airborne and virus'/disease spread from unclean and unsanitary conditions. Maybe you should spend some time on the MANY floors of Hospitals, as I have, treating those who are sufferring from these conditions.

Seeking the cause of what fuels those who ACT in such an outrageous manner and attempts to prevent occurrences is in NO WAY making any excuses.

Processes and Programs should NOT be alterred by the Arrogant Egotistical fools who wish to seek and sway public opinion by the glamourized photo opportunities where they are surrounded by a crowd who holds their breath as they swing a pen across a page, and interfere with policy whereby Structural systems of enforcement, particularly with Health Codes assisted by other necessary departments is needed. Do you think that has not happened?... How many offices closed, burned, bulldozed??? Gee, I think there has been more than one conflict (aka for those who dont know the definition- some consider it WAR) going on about that. When some people believe they are right, and dont care whether they die or not, they dont care who they take with them. A torturous reminder that happens more than we care to watch.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
