I couldn't fathom something of this nature happening to my two sons. This is why I'm constantly making them aware of irresponsible acts of this kind. It isn't necessary to "Road Test" a car at high speeds in a neighborhood. Anyone out walking their pet, jogging, mowing their lawn near the street or whatever could have been involved. This was a senseless act that could have been avoided, much like the one I saw on the same road/curve, where two teenage punks were "drifting" an ATV (four-wheeler) on gravel where an owner’s driveway met with the road. They looked at me with a "Duh" look on their face. At any point, the ATV could have flipped and serious to fatal injuries could have occurred. But the question is this: Where are the parents? What these young kids need is better discipline.

I forgot to include having seen about 8 teens walking on the same street at approximately 9:45PM one night. The next day, almost every owner of a non-mason mailbox was damaged with a baseball bat or something like it. A person claimed seeing a suburban-type vehicle when their mailbox was hit. I then recall seeing a similar type of vehicle these kids were walking to. I sure wish I would have known to camp out that night. If this occurred in the early morning hours; why were they out so late? But again, where are the parents? Some would say: "Awe they're just kids hanging out during the summer having fun." I had one neighbor say: "It's just kids playing a teenage prank...hahahaha” Well, it's not funny. Its quiet disrespectful. Again, these punk a$$ kids need the snot smacked out of them and put to good use. Not surf the net, learn new pranks until the late hours of the morning. This is why their same parents can't get them up in the morning to do squat. And when they're told to do something, they rebel. I'm glad I dropped the hammer on smart-mouthed kids in the military. They required a reality check and new meaning of life for their existence. Some thanked me. Others thought I was a jerk, which those that did, failed in the first year of their commitment. Parents don’t give your kids too much slack. It’ll bite you in ways you didn’t know.
