Visiting the area next month

Me and my wife are visiting next month, know of a lot of tourist type traps(such as Mystery House) though was curious of any good local restraunts or diners in the area.
Also we are staying at the Jellystone Park Cabin Resort, anyone know how good/bad that is. We are taking a chance on it and my wife didn't like the idea of the WigWam hotel.

I'd say your better off staying at Mammoth Cave rather than Jellystone. Alot more peaceful.
Well dont go to Rawhide in cave city cost to much for what you get,,like $12.00 for a Dry hamburger plate and that is the least expensive thing there. Hickory villa in cave city is a BBQ buffet but Not very good anymore for some reason, no free refills on drinks, and price is high. IF your eating in Cave city I'd say go Mexican . Since you posted in the Munfordville forum .Dont eat at County fixins in munfordville waste of time there. Many Health code violations from what I hear, its busy all the time cause its right on the interstate, travelers just dont know.
Really not much to do in either place. Probably would be better off going about 35 miles south to BOWLING GREEN lots of things there to do. You know the Corvette is born there? IMHO

we took are kids at the james park there..and i went when i was kid to the gun show on the hill..but we do are vist in lou,ky about 2 to 3 hr drive i think from there..but the cave has a place and with it been fall it nice down there,,i realy like get my kids over to that side a get pics, my mom lives in cave hollow bay,that nice to to visits..`
