You think that the Amish are very reliable, truthful and all around good people. That's not the case! There are bad Amish!!!!! I had an Amish girl cleaning my home (while I was not there). She stole from me, broke things, and had her BOYFRIEND over! Then after I fired her, I found out she was shoving whatever she did not want to put up under the beds, and in storage closets. It's been a few months and I am still working on getting my house back in order. Not only that, I found baskets of clothes piled high in the guest room that I never go in. I guess she did not want to put them up or fold them either.
I am still discovering things that have been missing that are no where to be found.
When I approached her to ask about things missing, she said she did not know, then a few items magically appeared the next time she
cleaned.
When I could come home early, I would find her watching CMT or GAC and wet hair (I guess she felt like washing it while she was here). I also caught her one time wearing my clothes. She changed before she went home.
BEWARE!!!! DO NOT HIRE AMISH !!!
DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!!
I am sure there are a few good ones, but why take the risk? They live and act like they are so much more Christian than all others, when they only hide their sins and bad people within their communities.
I am curious to see what other bad experiences others have. Here is the place to post.
I left her and her families name off because I am a good person and wanted to vent my fustrations not humiliate someone.

I hired some crazy Amish once that had a Jamacian in full dred lockes driving them around.
The day they came to do my roof Bob Marley is knocking on my door along with zz tops.
Anyway I had to go to town and when I got back they was jamming on the roof to some Hendrix "Purple Haze". I could smell the odor of Ganza in the air as well.
I beleive they left more nails in my swimming pool than in my roof, but other than that they didn't do a bad job.

I live in northwest Ohio and I am surrounded by Amish. Their lifestyle is more about being tight with money than it is a religion. They are constantly abusing the system at local businesses. At East of Chicago pizza for example a whole van load will come in, one or two will order the salad bar, then 6 or 8 of them will go pile their plates with pizza from the buffet. They have taken over the park in our town. They don't pay taxes to support the park, but they flock in by the dozens and use the facilities, then leave without cleaning up the shit from their horses.
The biggest problem with them in my area is that they are not sanitary. They shit in 5 gallon buckets and throw it over the fence into our fields. It is sick! They do not comply with septic requirements in our county, but no one wants to do anything about it because their gross lifestyle is hidden behind the "cloak" of religion.

The Amish will steal from you, lie to you and do anything else they think they can get by with. They think all "English" (which they call everyone who isn't Amish) are going to hell and that anything they do to us doesn't matter. Also, they teach their kids to hate the English because they are so afraid that their kids might leave the Amish when they are old enough. That is the main reason that the kids usually don't say anything to us when we speak to them, only a sly smile. The Amish won't sue each other but let something happen to them on your property and the first thing they think about is a lawsuit. Take my word and don't buy any baked good, etc., from the Amish. Most are very dirty, don't have running water and don't wash their hands after using the outhouse and their kitchens are full of flies in the summer. If you work for the Amish (driving or anything else), you are going to get the shaft. The only way to deal with them is to make them pay in advance and they won't do that. They all do shoddy work when they are working for the English. It might look ok for awhile but just wait a year or two. Now, they are always asking the English for rides to Wal-Mart and wherever but when was the last time you saw an English person riding in an Amish buggy? They wouldn't give an English person a ride if the English person's car broke down and they only had one leg.

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Aquarius

You may feel mildly agitated as the sensitive Moon clashes with your life-ruler. Personal difficulties with family members or necessary home repairs may disrupt your day. Deal directly with problems no matter how much you would rather procrastinate. What you avoid today is likely to escalate into a much bigger problem for you to solve tomorrow.
