daycare

i don't want to know bad things i just want to know some excellent daycares or babysitters in leitchfield or clarkson

Tammy's playschool is an awesome place.

I WOULD NOT take my child to All About Kids. My son went there only a few times and was tramatized by something there. Still to this day he begs every morning in the car not to go there, and it has been way over a year since he went there. I do not know what happened, but I'd quit my job before he had to foot back in there.

Tammys is top-notch in childcare in this town. All parents that I speak with love it there and so do their kids.

Definitly Agree! The problem is Mark is a weird, flaky control freak! His wife is ok, but she acts like he has her "Programed", ya know like women dont have "Rights" kind of thing. He is at the high school teaching now, i guess they couldnt support themselves with them both trying to be at the daycare all day? He apparently cant keep help either. Ive been over there a few times... Not any place i'd want my kids. Kids dont thrive in that kind of enviroment. Not enough stimulation, is what it boils down to!

Ive always heard wonderful things about Tammys. She must provide very well for her daycare kids, because ive never heard one single bad comment about Tammys Play School! Good Luck!!!

My Grandson goes to Tammy's and I went to school with her. Great person--Great pre-school. Waiting list may be long though. I also have two other Grandsons at PlayZone and they love it there as well and the people also seem great to me. May have a easier time getting in there, because Tammy's is so much the place most parents desire for their kids to be. Hope this helps.

I AGREE 100%!!! It is so weird there. When I would go to pick my son up I never knew what TEENAGER was taking care of my child. None of those young girls even told me their names. The only one that even gave a crap about the kids was Felicia Higdon, and Mark fired her because she is a strong woman who wouldn't take his "Men are superior" crap.

I worked there once but only for a couple weeks. Long enough to know I never wanted to put my kids in daycare when I had some of my own. Hes just too big of a weirdo. He is a control freak and his wife is really nice but totally submissive to him. Now the woman who use to work in the 1 yr old room was really nice! She was in her 50's probably.

yeah i heard play zone is a good one. if i ever get another job thats where my kids will be going.

My children have been going to the Educational Ladder since they were babies. I absolutely love it! The staff there as so good at their jobs and you can tell they genuinely care for the kids! The director, Ms. Linda is wonderful! I would definitely recommend taking your children there!!!

Yes stay away from All About Kids..I use to work there and I walked out and told him to kiss my butt he tryed to tell me how to take care of kids when I have one of my own...He is a jackass...My child has went to play zone and yes I loved it there the staff is excellent but now she goes to Tammy's and it is a wonderful place..Those are the only 2 daycares I would even consider..

I second that!! Our child absolutely loves it there! I'm sure there are a few top notch places but we've had great experiences here. The owner really cares about both; the children and the parents.

I would not let my dog go to the play zone...do you know who goes in and out of there the owners husband have been in jail for everything...it's on jail tracker...I hear one of the husband's went to jail for child molestaion back in the 80's..if you did it once you'll do it again.

Educational Ladder is as top knotch as Tammy's and the training of the people that work there can not be better.
That is the first place I would look for an opening if I needed day care!

I personally know the owners of the play zone and their husbands, they are awesome, caring and great people all of them. If you don't know all the details of something you shouldn't open your mouth it can be very bad. my children go to the play zone seen they were infants and they love everyone their because the workers and teachers have been there for years. you really need to call or stop by and visit any time and see for yourself to see how wonderful they are.

if you know that about one of their husbands then why don't you give me your name and we can have a face to face conversation.

Go to court house ask for record on the husbands of the employees its there for the public. I just went to the court house and asked for it. The public can do that. It happened before they put people on the web page for it. I checked it out before I put my kids in daycare anywhere in Leitchfield. Why give my name most people don't for the privacy...just go to the court house. Public records its your right to check out someone thats going to be around your kids...afarid to go check the records?? Everyone should use the public records to check out someone. Its free, unless you want copy then you pay for. Other wise its free. Check for yourself then call me a liar.....
