2 The injuries are horrendous! Why do we send our kids into such a meat grinder? It's not about USA safety!!! It's about a mess that Cheney got us into, and now pride of the right wing war-hawks that feel USA must win at everything. USA pride at the price of our kids being torn apart, families destroyed, kids without Daddy ... we will pay the price for many decades. |

At least 1,800 troops were wounded in Afghanistan in the first 10 months of this year, about 40 percent of all the wounded U.S. troops in Afghanistan since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Nearly 1,000 of those injuries occurred in the last three months.
