Well he lied, he was told by the sherriff's dept. that he would be on at 7:30 and he refused saying his contract stated 8:30, then he was shown the contract and still refused to come out of his trailer until 8:30

from what I have been told he put on a great show the sad part was having to listen to all the whineing because he was late there had to be a mix up on the time I never saw a contract so who knows who was at fault 1500 IS REally cheap to see a major entertainer but like usual the members of the piss and moan club have to complain no wonder nothing happens in malone grow up suck it up he was late

To start out with, this isn't 1996 anymore. Travis Tritt hasn't had a number one hit in 12 years and hasn't released an album in over 5 years. His days of being a "major entertainer" are gone. He's a $45,000 show in a world paying artists like Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley a million+ per show. He is a washed up has been who should be greatful to still be performing.

I saw the contract. It was clearly spelled out that the show starts at 7:30pm. Tritt and his manager wouldn't produce their copy of the contract. The only thing the manager said is that "Travis Tritt is far too big of a star to headline any show that starts before 8:30 pm." The fair board and concert promoter was lived back stage. I'm certain Tritt was drunk going on stage because an emergency liquor run for a bottle of Jack Daniels, bottle of Jim Beam, bottle of Sky Vodka and a 12 pack of Heinekin was made for him around 6:00pm. Tritt refused to do any sort of meet and greet. He and his manager decided there would be no encore. Tritt says he was robbed, but that is a lie. They called the show while in the back of a tractor trailer. It went over their radio about 2 minutes after leaving the stage. "No encore. Load the bus. We're outta here." This man and his management staff is the most smug and arrogant group of people that has ever been at the fair.

TRAVIS TRITT,,,, should be called Travis Twitt.. HE is an arrogant egotist, his performance was lackluster,, his attitude toward Malone was one of , "Lets get this over with, give me my money I am out of here". He should never be invited back for any reason, and more thinking should go into selection of entertainers of this type. He is a has been, used to be, part time drunk,part time singer. Malone was just a distraction for him in his daily routine,,,,Good riddance..

That would be me. I called you a crack user. I did not call the dipshit a drunk, but IF you were there, there would no question he was on something!

As for what I was doing, I was busy setting up and breaking down the stage.

What authority does a stage hand have, to determine, who is high on anything.

Mr. Tritt was very well aware that he was to go on at 7:30. He and his band were all ready and could have did it. There was nobody in charge at the fair holding him back. In fact they tried to persuade him to start the show at 7:30. But for whatever reason, whether he was pissed off at somebody or not drunk enough or whatever he didn't have enough respect for the "country bumpkins" in Malone (which he is also) to go out and play on time.

The rockers "Cheap Trick" were hired for the same price 4 or 5 years ago, started the show on time and did several encores with the show lasting about 2 and a half hours......now those are professionals!

He deleated his Facebook post saying sorry about the Franklin Co fair today I think it is because too many Malone people were telling the truth about his performance and the in goings that happens that night. All he had to do is s write a real so sorry Franklin Co. I messed up oh I will never play one of his songs again

OH well that is your loss. I guess you do not appreciate a wonderful entertainer, like Travis Tritt. You should get a life. You need one.

I'm wondering if he was paid in full. Normally, when someone doesn't fulfill the terms of a contract, they don't get the carrot. That's why you have contracts in the first place. To protect all parties involved. I hope the Fair Board stands their ground on this one. I'd sue his drunken ass in a heartbeat. First for every paid admission, and second, for loss of future sales as it is obvious the public was/is pissed off. The Fair Board needs to show the public that they don't tolerate this kind of arrogance. Who does he think he is? George Jones?

Hey Paula he did delete his facebook post I was shocked! Too Funny but come on....the tickets were 15 bucks get over it...the fair board shouldnt sue him for godsakes!

I think you are probably one of those frustrated older ladies who are struggling with weight issues and would have been just as happy if Travis Tritt came out on stage, turned around, and then blew a fart into the microphone. You are obviously obsessed with him and have built a fantasy around him for decades now.

Now you have face the reality; he doesn't want you....never did,,,,never will. He sees 100's of thousands of people just like you every year and I'm here to tell you his eye is only going to fall on the young pretty ones with the long brunette hair, big brown eyes, perfect smile, incredibly fit bodies. After 22 years someone had to break the news to you. But it is, what it is.
