What an absolute waste of money the Travis Tritt concert was! Over an hour late, sounded like he was drunk, dressed like a gothic dominatrix, and no encore(wtf!)!

Very disappointed and will never attend another one of his concerts or buy anything related to him again!

Read the Malone Telegram and they said "...well worth the wait!". What show did they watch????

You're close but not completely accurate. Here's what he posted on his faceboo page,

"I apologize to all of you at the Malone, NY show last night. I am a professional and strive to give 110% at every show. Last night I was denied the ability to do that because I was told the show was to start at 8:30;I apologize to those waiting in the rain assuming I was late. My show was cut short and I was robbed the opportunity to give you all the encore you know and expect to get at a Travis Tritt concert. I hope you all will come out to another show and experience the full performance. Thank you."

So according to Tritt, he was told the show starts at 8:30, but Mallary Hope, the warm up act, went on a little after 7. Interesting. Didn't he hear the crowd booing? Wasn't he told they were? Didn't he ask why? Didn't someone ask him why he wasn't on stage? Something's not adding up here.

As far as the encore goes, the crowd got up and left. There was a half-hearted call for an encore, but the house lights were turned on less than 3 minutes after the band stopped playing, and that was that. They knew they'd lost the crowd and wanted to get outa Dodge.

I am a Canadian musician. I thought the show was just fantastic. I have waited 22 years, to see, Travis Tritt live. I think he is the best singer, in the world. Also the most handsome man. P.S. I loved his clothes.

Just read the Fair Facebook page and there seems to be someone who needs to learn how to tell time or read.

In one place they say the gates open on 8/3 at 1PM; in another they say at 6Pm. the radio said 1PM, in another place the Fair corrects them and says 6PM.

In another place they say the free parking at Aldi's was from 4 to 11, but the NYS electronic sign on that end of town says 4-12.

Apparently the figure 8 races and demo derby stared late.

Maybe Tritt has a point? Although I'm still not convinced.

I wonder what was in his contract with the fair. Surely am NOT impressed with him. Will never go to his concert or support him in any way. An arrogant SOB with no regard for a little hometown fair. If it were not for him being a jerk and the fear of his high paid lawyers the fair board should give the newspaper the real facts behind the scenes concerning him and his 8:30 start time.

Don't you know who I am says Tritt.... ya a person who is giving the country music venue a bad wrap. All the other professional entertainers who have performed in Malone need to give him a lesson in how to treat fans..oh but maybe singing in a small Northern New York town isn't good enough for him. I always thought that he had an agent or person who kept his schedule right and on time.... guess we will never know the real fact but shame on him.

The music was good...he just lost the crowd with his lack of respect for them. I think it would have been different if he would have shown up on time.

I know they are expensive but I wish the fair could get some rock bands back again. They seem to do really well with bands like Cheap Trick, Loverboy, etc.

It's those old folks that brought in the rock bands.
