MALONE — Franklin County Court Judge Robert G. Main Jr. handed down several sentences recently.

Here’s a look at the disposition of County Court cases:

Marcel Cox II, 19, of Washington Street, Brushton: Sentenced to 10 years of probation with the first six months served in County Jail on two counts of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was indicted by a grand jury in August on two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from incidents Aug. 23 and Aug. 24, 2012. Five years of probation and the jail term were handed down on the first count. Cox was also ordered to pay $100 in restitution.

17-year-old Saranac Lake youth: Granted youthful-offender status, sentenced to five years probation for third-degree attempted burglary, stemming from an incident May 17. The teen was originally charged with second-degree attempted burglary and endangering the welfare of a child.

Robert Dresser, 45, of Spaulding Avenue, Malone: Sentenced to two concurrent 2½-year sentences in state prison for fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was indicted by a grand jury on two counts of fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, stemming from incidents May 10 and May 14, 2012. Dresser was also sentenced to two years of post-release supervision, fined a total of $2,500 and ordered to pay $60 in restitution.

Bernard McCormick, 29, of Lake Street, Saranac Lake: Sentenced to five years of probation, with the first six months in County Jail, for third-degree assault, hate crime, stemming from an incident Oct. 27, 2012. He got into a fight with another man outside Roman’s Saranac Lane bar, injuring the victim, who had to get stitches. He also yelled racial slurs and threatened to get a gun. McCormick was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.

Rockne Cox, 30, of Tuper Road, Brushton: Pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, stemming from an incident March 16. He was indicted by a grand jury for first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving while ability was impaired by drugs and petit larceny. Cox also pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal sale a weapon, stemming from incidents Oct. 16, 2012, and Nov. 7, 2012. He was indicted by a grand jury in May on three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Cox is to be sentenced in both cases on Jan. 27
