I went to school during some of my teen years in Kemp. My family lived in an old farmhouse near Valentine Marina, in the Tolosa area. My best friend was Rebecca Robinson - we were both 14 years old, I think 15 when I moved. We had a disagreement and my father moved us suddenly and I never had a chance to tell her goodbye. She had several brothers I think and her parents had a used car lot in I think Mesquite. They lived in a mobile home on some acreage not far from where we lived. My name then was Glynda White, my father was Owen White. I think the years we lived at Tolosa near the Valentine Marina were 1973-74.
