I am also a good friend of Natashas. Went to high school with her in Dexter MO. I check periodically for new info as well. How did you know Natasha?
I know this question wasn't meant for me, but anyways...i just noticied about her death just today (11/4/10). I used to call her Tasha...because we used to date back in 2001/2002 before she moved to Texas. I was going through some of my old things and i came across of pictures of Me and tasha togetter. THats when i decided to look her up on facebook, and thats how i learned that she got killed. Tasha was a good person in deed. i really missed her.I couldnt believe that her life ended like this. She did not diserve it.So for people that think that she might have killed herself, all i can tell you all is that she knew Christ, and she was the one that introduced me to my church(WILLOW CREEK) and i do not think that she can koll herself.

Suzanne "Susie" Bowers was only 12 when she disappeared. She would have turned 13 in Sept 1977.

So, someone has been reported missing and you have not phoned the police yet to let them know you think you know where that person is...why? I would think that would require less effort than typing on here. Regardless of your feelings about the woman, if she is indeed the missing lady someone misses her. And, if you are hanging out with hardcore users, then maybe you should not be.
as it goes, i tried every route available to get to the bottom of it. she is extremely devious and hides facts well, maybe beyond the intelligence of those who make assumptions. for instance,'knowledge' of drugs does not suggest 'user' of drugs. as for feelings about her, at the time i wrote it my dad still had a comfy lifestyle, and has since remortgaged the house for this woman and outcasted anyone who dare to raise question about her. as for what i should not be doing, i personally raise my children and avoid drugs at all cost, NOT hang around with hardcore users. she was invited into my family and i was the one trying to get to the bottom of the lies and deceit that now control my estranged fathers existence. i suppose some would just phone the police because its "less effort", then sit and wait for an outcome. some have a bit more about them, try that little bit harder, and also do their own research, in every place possible. i guess you've never came across the latter. thanks for your assumptions though, it was a brief reminder of how negative and ignorant some people can be.

Post #11 I think is on to something with his profile.

Any one still read this blog?

There ma be links to three suicides out of Hitchcock, Tx during the tenure of Bruce Clawson. Kim Petershagen, Curtis Ward, and Stephen Bland were three very suspicious suicides, in saying that, obvious murders covered up by a local law enforecement officer Bruce Clawson, the current Emergency management coordinator of Texas City.

Families of the victims will tell you exactly what they think of Clawson when the name is brought up to families of his victims. In Clawson's own words, a suicide is an open and shut case with no questions asked. He was on the Organized Crime Control unit and had reign of the nights throughout the areas where these murders occured. These girls would have only pulled over or gotten in the car for someone they thought appeared trusting.

The letter delivered to Tim Miller shortly after the death of Abel, a person accussed of the murders, has references to working on the railroad all the live long day. Abel was killed when his golf cart was struck by a train? Was this a suicide??

A quote from a 10/29/1984 GDN newspaper article quotes bruce saying "Politics not big monster people say it is."

Journals from a victim of Clawson's family member state that Bruce made a statement that he was "cleaning up society."

The words MONSTER AND SOCIETY are bothe present in Clawson's letter, two not so commonly referred to words, when you look at all the mere coincidences.

Clawson returned from Vietnam shortly before the first murder occurred in 1971. Bruce graduated from Texas City High School in 1966 with a main investigator on some of the murder cases Wayne Kessler.

Clawson is very politically involved in Galveston County, fitting the profile in post 11.

Similar to the coerced confession from the mentally incompetent Stallings, which attempts to implicate Abel, there is a 1981 triple homicide confession obtained from Max Soffar with attempts to implicate an individual he was upset with.

The only reason as stated in the killer's letter he remains free is because he tampered with the evidence... Clawson's name is on the file of Petershagen as the Medical Examiners office investigator.

Someone inside the investigation should look into the coincidences with Clawson in this case.

The reference to the Corvette Concepts triple homicide may coincide with the triple homicide at the bowling alley that Max soffar is wrongfully imprisoned for.

Anyone have any information to add for investigators. Hopefully these leads can be investigated and looked into.

One item I found that does sound very plausible is that many of the killings within the three hundred mile radius encompasing the I-45 killings and those of Louisianna is the product of a serial killer. I think he's from the Galveston County area though and may travel to Louisianna to gamble, not the other way around as suggested.

I am a sorority sister of Tasha's and I check for details every so often regarding her death.

I can't find where a cause of death was ever determined. Also, if it is suicide, was a weapon ever found?

Thank you for any information you can give

I have a few questions about your talking about, how can I talk to you. I know one of the "suspicious suicide" victims.

In 1981, I was still in high school. That summer, I met a young man at Greenspoint mall and, for some stupid reason, I agreed to leave the mall with him. We walked under the highway to a quasi-residential motel. In his room, there was an older man there. They offered cocktails and pot. While preparing the drinks and rolling a joint, I noticed they were giving each other eye and hand signals. I felt that nervous gut reaction feeling, a sense that something was askew with this scene. For once, I had a quick thought to make up some bogus story about how I shouldn't have a drink since I was pregnant (which I was not.) The old man seemed ticked-off that the young man had brought a pregnant chick back to the room; the old man told the younger chap to "...take her back where you found her." The old man's demeanor went from fake-friendly to downright hostile, when I made my false confession.

The young man walked me back to Greenspoint mall and, as he left me at the front door, he said: "Don't you know that you shouldn't go off with people you don't know? You just don't know what could have happened to you."

Walking back into that mall, I've never been more chilled or relieved in my life. Since that day, I've often wondered if these two guys weren't in on the I-45 murders.
Did you tell the police your story or show them where the Man took you??

On July 2nd or 3rd, 1982, on I 35 just outside of Dallas Texas when I was 18 & hitchhiking back home to Ohio, I & my then boyfriend was given a ride by a white male, late 30's or early 40's, with dark hair. He drove quite a ways and then off the freeway into a residential area and tried to convince us to go to a home there where his wife supposedly was. I said no. He was strange & showed my boyfriend who was sitting in the front seat with him, I was in the back seat, a photo album kind of thingy with photos of him & young nude women he picked up hitchhiking engaged in various sexual acts. He then insisted that my boyfriend show me the photos & laughed a disturbing kind of laugh about it. I was disgusted and turned my head away quickly after glancing at the photos. I remember several of the young women were blondes. He then pulled up to a restaurant off of the highway and told us to come inside as he would buy us breakfast. Well, I stayed in the car as I was very tired & fell asleep in the back seat. I was awakened suddenly awhile later by him getting into the car and attempting to kidnap me while my boyfriend was in the restaurant bathroom. By the providence of God, at that very moment a police car pulled in the lot beside us just as he was telling me to shut up and stay down & backing the car up to leave with me. I looked out the car window & saw both the cops next to us, and my boyfriend running out of the restaurant toward the car to rescue me. The guy got VERY scared when he saw the cops & tried to avoid them and I was yelling let me out of this car at him. I got out of the car as he was backing out & ran up to the cops & told them what had happened but they just brushed it off & didnt go after him becaus we didn't get his licence plate number. He got away. Some years later in the 1990's I called the Dallas Texas police with my story after seeing something about Henry Lee Lucas on TV and wondered if he could have been the guy. The detective told me that if it was Lucas, he had already been convicted so it wouldnt really matter & also said that I would be surprised at how many sickos like that guy are roaming the Texas Interstates. I can't help but think that maybe I was one who got away from a serial killer & maybe some of my memory of it may help solve a case. I find it also disturbing that one of the women was either killed on or abducted on July 1st 1982, just a day or 2 before this happened to me. Wonder if it was the same guy?
