You should considered yourself a hero by reporting bad cops. However, your not alone! Former police officers at City of Meadows Place in Fort Bend County are doing the same. You join the department to help people that 99.99% of police cadets are saying when they're in the academy. Once they wear a badge and carry a gun that number changed to only 5% and you are that 5%. Citizens in your community should be proud of you! I think every cops should follow your foot steps.

I was surprised there only 5% of the police officers on the street actually want to help people and make different! What about rest of 95%? Sounds like there aren't many good cops on the streets. I believe all the good cops should follow this officer's foot steps.

I've been with law enforcement for 18 years. "Police presence" is not = "tickets writting" The definition of police presence is to let people see you and interacting with people if neccessary. Writting ticket has nothing to do with police presence and crime rate! I think the chief and the captain need to go back to the academy.

The mayor will support the chief because the mayor is the one who appointing the chief of police for his or her police department.

We get caught with the similar situation two years ago in Meadows Place Police Department. The chief over there is a dick, so is yours! However, we did not go to the media to talk about our situation because it will destroy our reputation! Therefore, we keep low profile. We have lots of fun to send each other messages back and forth on this website.

We put the money making mill locations on the speedtrap website to warn the motorists where cops like to hide. I think you should do the same to your department! Just remember, be a hero! Don't be a Chief's pet!
Glad to hear from you

Hey, I'm glad to hear from you guys over here. When I read you guys statements with this officer's in Magnolia PD is the same. The former chief Mike Pickett put restraining orders against you guys as well as this asshole over here. The only different is that Texas Rangers are investigating this case in Magnolia, but not in Meadows Place! It nice to keep it LOW, but it not going to change anything.

I don't think Alexander is telling the whole story. I am not saying that the chief did not do what he said, but Alexander is not saying the wrongful things he was doing that caused employees under him to be fired (for his actions) He got what he deserves but so has the Chief.

There are two sides to every story and Mike Alexander's allegation's appear to have alot of missing information. Why would the captain call him and give him these alledged orders when the man plainly stated in the article that he was on Medical Leave. Where is the proof that he got this call? Not one of the other officer's received that order and they were actually at work, not on medical leave! I laugh at all the ridiculous comments that I have read from very judgemental people. It appears to me that the Chief and Captain did no wrong, but Mike Alexander has made up this story because of some past consequences he has had since becoming a police officer. He obviously was looking for a way to harm the Captain and Chief and decided to make up this ridiculous story. I am personally glad that our streets are free of police officers like Mike Alexander.

Magnolia PD are CROOKS! They wronfully arrest you , then steal your car and the contents inside. Not to mention your Freedom , and sense of security! THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COPS AND INMATES IS THAT COPS HAVENT BEEN CAUGHT YET! A guard told us that at the MONTGOMERY COUNTY JAIL as we were escorted to the nurses office for our TB test. <<<BESIDES>> > If cops were so honest ... why do they have locks on their lockers at "the station".... TEXAS RANGERS will get'em...

If you have enough nerve to express your feelings (wrong as they are) why can't you show your name?
I live in Magnolia have for about 16 years our police are doing a good job, thet do police themselves as you can see the recent firing of the chief and a patrolman for being sneaky and double dealing scoundrels

I live in this town also and I know first hand on how lazy some of the police are just to keep from doing a little extra paperwork

If you are only reading the paper then yes there is alot of information missing. Obviously if the grand jury thinks they are guilty there must not be too much missing info. The paper does not tell you if there was proof or recordings of the phone calls. If you had been following the story you would see that there was another officer and he testified also. Get your facts straight before you choose a side.

I believe that Magnolia Police Officers have
college background and/or maintain high standards.
I don't see officers as lazy people. I believe
that because of the department's determination
to maintain high standards, the officers are
liability conscious. If one's vehicle has been
towed incidently to a lawful arrest, and something
is missing from that vehicle,it could have been
taken from a wrecker driver or his helper. It
doesn't make sense for an officer to risk losing
his TCLEOS license and his job over some trivial
item from a prisoner's vehicle. It seems to me
that the City of Magnolia recruits the best
possible candidates for police work while striving
to provide the best quality of life possible in
Montgomery County.

Montgomery is not Magnolia, Texas. Why is this post on Montgomery heading? Can't people read? Magnolia is 45 minutes taking the back roads.

To answer the last post;
Magnolia may be a separate town but it is in fact, still MONTGOMERY county. This may possibly be the reason these titles are popping up. Just thought this may help clarify why Magnolia news is appearing under a Montgomery information sight.

I feel that the cops in magnolia are mostly comprised of ignorant people who could not obtain good paying jobs because they are to silly to do so.. Lt. Crabtree got Screwed and Mayor Jimmy Thornton took over as Judge and things are more messed up than ever before.. As with all small towns there is really nothing anyone can do about any of it except complain.

ido believe that most cops start out with a good attitude, but most also get this better than you thinking, who else can drink and drive, make illegal u turns, speed when they want to, and nothing happens, but you do the same and they act like your a crimminal, then in tomball they gang up on you, two or three crusiers at a time, scared i guess, magnolia cops act like thier mad all the time, whats up with that, trust me i havent had a ticket in 20 years so im not mad at anyone, just saying what i see
