You are right, freedom. It makes so much more sense for me to have been one of the first pre teens on prozac, my mother to be prescribed an overdosage amount ON TOP OF ZOLOFT (luckily I cam ehome or she would be dead), than for the two of us to grow a plant and smoke it.

What was the newest thing they were saying prozac can be prescribed for?

I think I'll go try some Gardasil. I have heard that it works wonders, and I trust that it does.

Oh yes, it's alright with me if you mandate it on my 13 year old, too. What ever you say. You are the smart one.

Untested prescription drugs? There is no such thing. All drugs are tested. That does not mean that all drugs are completely safe. All drugs have possible side effects. I would advise that you avoid taking any prescription drugs unless you REALLY need them. And then follow the directions to the letter. As far as pulling a weed out of the ground and smoking it. Hey, have at it. But your not immune from being mocked and laughed at if you act foolish while under it's "special" infulence.

Do you honestly believe this? Take it from someone who was a guinea pig, many times they test it on the general public without them knowing it has not been tested on anyone. They'll give out $ incentives for docs to prescribe it when it is in it's experimental stage. It will become more and more common once the pharm companies get there way and a new bill is pushed through that prohibits us from holding them accountable for ANYTHING. Why would they even need to create this bill if everything is tested and honky dory to begin with?

You make some serious allegations. I assume you have evidence beyond your claim of being a guinea pig? I could claim to have slept with 10,000 women, all of whom were stunningly hot, but that doesn’t mean it that claim is true. At least provide a link to this proposed bill you describe. No offense, but if you can’t provide anything to back up your claims, then you end up sounding like one of those wacko conspiracy theorists. Or is all of this just your opinion?

P.S. Show me a study that says pot kills brain cells... betcha can't find one.
Well I guess I was wrong about the brain cells. But I still say dope is for dopes. And you could do a lot worse than to be more like me.

So your saying that stupid people smoke pot because that is stupid, so it is not the pot's fault. Well, I wouldn't have called pot smokers stupid, but over all I have to agree with you. I'm glad someone on this thread finally got my back. Why did you call me a fool? I don't get that part. See ya buddy.

Not sure if you have read/heard of the dawn of prozac and the contoversy behind the industry's clinical trials involving teenagers that was not released to the public for cloes to two decades. Their own trials found that the drug really did nothing for depression and increased suicidal thoughts/ actions. This is a well known controversy and is not that hard to google.

I ran away from home when I was twelve. The police found me and my parents agreed to send me to, well, a mental hospital. There thay had all sorts of labels for behaviors and drugs to go along with them. I was in with eleven other teens, all of which were on something. My parents just wanted me to live a normal life and be happy and agreed to having be become a part of the prozac test trails. I am not going to go into anything that happened after that so far as myself, but from there they put my mother and father on the same drug. Later they introduced zoloft to the already overdosage amount of prozac, and at 16 years of age I got to walk into the house one day after school to find my mothers blood all over the place and her wandering around incoherent with slit wrists....you get where I am going with this. Then she ends up in a mental hospital where they still have her on concoctions and luckily my stepfather got her out of there when he heard they were going to do shock therapy.
I skipped a whole bunch of other circumstances in between because I wanted to focus on the pharmecueticals and the mental health industry, but I just wanted to put you in your place for sort of refering to me speaking out of my arse on this issue.

I need to go take a little walk in the forest now, and the legislation info is on my other computer (it's actually an amendment slipped in at the last minute), but I promise I'll find that for you.

Silly stoners, dope is for dopes.

Did you ever notice that if you say something about how police break the law and bully people, your posts get removed. Someone out there doesn't like the truth. .The most dangerous criminals in the country are hiding behind badges.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Virgo

Someone is being headstrong and wilful, and absolutely determined to do what they want. Mercury is retrograde and it's a Full Moon in Cancer with a lunar eclipse all happening tonight! This could lead to some heated discussions and possibly even rows, as you argue the toss back and forth. It might be best to accept that there's very little possibility of reaching an agreement rather than to get locked in a stubborn battle of wills. Besides, you don't want anything to spoil what promises to be a very enjoyable New Year's Eve. Have fun!
