Name calling? Really? I'm sure that will impress the general public. In listening to Goodfellow, he says that the reason to vote for him is that there are not enough Democrats in office and that he's been representing the district for a long time. Are these really reasons to vote for him? I haven't heard him give a good platform yet.

Brent Goodfellow's voting record does NOT represent my family's values.
DANIEL THATCHER has my full support!!!

I keep hearing "stick to the issues", my issue is I haven't gotten an answer from Daniel Thatcher on where he graduated?, how long he's lived in the district?, when he purchased his home in which he currently resides?, where he's employed?. I worry another career politician is trying to hide all the information us west-siders want to know. Brent Goodfellow hasn't hid anything and has served us honorably, my votes for him.

Not impressed with Daniel Thatcher. I want a statesman to represent me on the hill, not someone who comes off wanting to be in the spotlight. I respect experience, background and common sense. I've met both and Brent Goodfellow is the one I can trust with my vote.

Since when does the purchase of his home have anything to do with this race? He is a contract worker installing and fixing electrical systems. I also don't really see the relevance in what he does for a living.

In speaking with Daniel, he seems to have a great grasp on the principles that I want him to stand up for. The only thing that I've heard from Goodfellow is that he deserves to be elected because he is a Democrat and has served us for a long time. I'm sorry, but you're gonna have to come up with better than that if I'm going to vote for you.

Since when is the UPD fee common sense? It would have been common sense to fight against it instead of sitting back and watching it happen!

Seriously?! You would elect someone to legislative representation who doesn't even pay property taxes in the district you live in!? You've got to be kidding me! What roots does he have if he doesn't own a home here? He could up and leave us. Goodfellow on the other hand is committed to the area. He doesn't just talk about being a west-sider, he's got the mortgage to prove it. Being "gainfully employed" shows me that my representative already has a job, and that they're not looking for a career. Anyone can say they are "self employed" and not even earn income, in that case they're not even paying income taxes. Can we please get some answers about who this guy is?! I'll vote for the guy who hasn't thought twice about letting us know his background and commitment to our west side, Goodfellow leaves no doubt.

Please say we are all more informed than this statement. Which form of government passed the stupid fee in the first place??? COUNTY, STATE... anybody??? Come on, Senator Goodfellow did exactly what he could by pushing legislation on the STATE level to help protect us. I hear Daniel Thatcher went to meetings, talked with TONS of people and still all his efforts couldn't stop it from happening. Instead of wasting time working with a mainstream Democrat County Mayor and whacked out council, our west side Democrat Senator figured out a way to do what he could to help us. Just for info sake, I'm a conservative and registered republican, but this race has taught me west-siders vote for principles and people not just party. Goodfellow has the character I want in my Senator.

Mr. Goodfellow came by our home to campaign and when his positions on issues did not resonate he left by making outrageous and untruthful statements about Mr. Thatcher. It took only one email and a phone call to find the truth. I've now met and visited with both men AND looked at their records and Dan Thatcher has my vote and that of everyone here that day.

I have and will continue to support Senator Goodfellow. He has represented the west side with honesty and integrity. He is a PROVEN LEADER with the EXPERENCE and STATSMANSHIP necessary to have our voices heard. Senator Goodfellow has been one of the most EFFECTIVE lawmakers in this state and has the fire and passion to continue working for his distrct.

Thatcher's views are extreme and so far removed from what the residents of this district need.

I voted for Brent. I know that Daniel is not employed lives with his parents and does not think college is necessary. He is not married and until you write out a mortgage payment or even a rental payment how can you represent my needs as an employed, home owner with a family. It is one thing to talk the talk, which is very gifted in, and another to walk the walk.
