I darn sure would not buy advance tickets for Ghost Town, I am afraid that they will not be a useable ticket.

I have searched the internet and still can't find if they have made a final decision on opening or not. However, won't the mudslide have an effect on the opening also. I have been to Ghost Town twice and enjoyed it but even if it closes I will continue to visit Maggie Valley twice a year.

I know what you are saying. I have heard that they have turned off their phone, so who knows. They are not talking about themselves, on Facebook, so it must not be good.

Yes that is not a good sign...looks like if they were going to open they would be talking on FB or something.

Heard there is new ownership, for Ghost Town. Hopefully they have enough capital to fix the Train, and the Traction Line, up the mountain.

That is great...my son had already asked to go to Ghost Town this year. Hope it opens soon.

The scary part to this is who bought, or is trying to buy it. GSMR has priced themselves out of the Train Ride market, they will find that out shortly. My worries, is how high they will jack the ticket prices at Ghost Town. It was borderline to high before this happened.

And, if the guy who owns GSMR gets this Park bought, you won't be able to afford the admission ticket price, his GSMR Train ride prices, are ridiculously high.

I went to Ghost Town when I was 13 - I'm now 43 and would love to take my boys there. I checked a couple years ago and it was closed and we watched the movie this week about it and I hope they open it back up - at least this year so I can take my boys and relive my childhood memories with them.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
