Did Barack lose a bet with LULAC or something? There is no other reason in the world why ANYONE would think this lady would do a good job.

This will never happen. Just because she has been nominated doesn't mean she is being considered. I don't think Obama is that stupid...
LOL, I doubt he even knows who she is! Unless there is a funnies political debates video show!

President-Elect Obama didn't nominate her, so I don't see this as a negative reflection of his intelligence: "she has been nominated to serve as interior secretary by the national Hispanic Leadership Agenda, the same group that nominated Governor Bill Richardson for commerce." That being said, I don't believe we are in danger of her gaining the position, once they see her record and level of competence or lack of, we can all let out a big sigh of relief.

Well, then again, we could try to get a serious answer from Mike. Mike, what are the qualifications that she has, for this job.

I consider myself to be a pretty loyal democrat, but I would not support Madrid's appointment for this or any other high-ranking position. I thought she was a terrible judge and a terrible AG. If Obama really does his homework on her, she should not get appointed.

read the congressional record for the last two years. Don't just depend on cnn as yor source of information. A 9% approval rating doesn't tell you something?

You said it all Mike8. It's funny how the Republicans refuse to take any responsibility for the state of our country. Billy Bob Bush really did a job on our country over the past 8 years....oh wait it's all the Democratic congress' fault in all the two years they had congress. Too funny.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aquarius

You won't like it if you feel your wings are being clipped today. You want to do something in particular, only to discover that someone is objecting to your plans or that circumstances beyond your control are standing in your way. Although your instincts tell you to throw a tantrum to get your point across, you must ask yourself what this will achieve, and whether it will actually be self-defeating.
