Yeah, cannot really understand why congress wasn't in the choice. My vote is for them. They are in every facet of our lives and set the tone for the trickle down politics I am a victim of at the local level. Mandatory Recycle Bins anyone?

Otto isn't just stupid, he's a liar. However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way.(Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT) Yankee Yahoo wrote: <quoted text> Exactly. There was once a time when most Americans were self-employed, had no mortgages, and no labor class. That period of time brought on the most innovative and scientific age in all of human history. Slavery is alive and well now ... thanks to Progressives.

Not everyone was 'fit' to be a slave, and there were different slavery positions to be held. I'm not saying we have as bad as slaves did back in the 17 & 18th century, but we are participating is a 'slavery' system. Don't get mad. Accept it. It is what it is. I am talking about the now, not centuries past. I don't get mad, you do enough of that for everyone here. I live my life for what it is now, accept it.

I see it that way, because it is that way. You refuse to see it that way, because you simply don't want to admit our modern day society has a lot more in common with slavery than you previously thought. No one said coming to terms with the truth was ever easy.

Don't know how we got onto slavery. Sorry, but didn't want to research it. Feel that slavery was one of the vilest practices in America and is still going on in terms of sex and child labor. But as to organizations that see you as chattel and property, look no further than our present government and its rules and organizations. Look at our educational system and seeing children as future taxpayers. Movement to move children away from the family at an even earlier age and into the government education system. government knows best, or at least, better than the family. Homeschooling is outlawed in many European countries as a social deviant practice. Look at your history on that. Thank you Bismarck. Funny how the more things change, the more they remain the same.

Again, why don't we have the Republican Party in this list? Is someone afraid it might get the most votes?

Exactly. And we got on slavery, because, once again, the very people that were the first to outlaw it in ancient times (Christians), are the people accused of using slaves the most. Meanwhile, those that people that accuse Christians of it, are the ones bringing it back.

Antisemitism is part of the abortion crowd, along with eugenics, sterilization of Native Americans, and the Holocaust. Yes ~~ I can give evidence of what Moses did ~~ I "already have" given them. Go back & re-read my posts of passages concerning Moses copied from the bible. Catch that part ~~ copied from the bible.

Yankee Yahoo wrote: <quoted text> Wrong. Sacred Tradition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacred_tradition And wrong again: http://medicolegal.tripod.com/catholicsvslave... Again, you are not a theologian. These websites are only the tip of the iceberg of actual understanding. Fact: Sacred Tradition is the oral laws that were eventually written down, and canonized into the Bible. Christians had ONLY Sacred Tradition for 400 years before the canon. Fact: All secular and non-Biblical accounts of the Late Roman Empire show that Jews and Christians bought and freed as many slaves as they could afford, as a matter of moral repugnance of slavery. Fact: Western Civilization, for its entire 1600 years of history since its conception around 400 AD (Carroll Quigley on Evolution of Civilizations) is the ONLY CIVILIZATION THAT DID NOT DEPEND UPON, OR USE IN GREAT NUMBERS, SLAVES. How many misconceptions, exactly, do you hold? Here is a short list of other common signs of historical ignorance: That medieval people thought the world was flat. That medieval people did not bathe. That medieval people had rodents living in their thatched roofs. That medieval people were uneducated and backwards. If you believe any of this, you have grave misconceptions that are totally perverted your world view of society and our Western culture. Sacred Tradition is a modern term the catholics come up with referring to the church's authority. Now instead of using wikipedia, show me something ~~ anything at all ~~ where the bible talks about "sacred tradition". The bible, especially the old testament in no way opposed slavery. God himself said it was fine & dandy to own them. See below. I already posted it once, but you seem to have somehow failed to see it. Leviticus 25, God said at Mount Sinai ~~ "Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly." You seem to like to only use the parts of the bible which suit you & pretend the parts I'm giving don't exist. Funny how many religious people do that. I think it would help if people did as I said earlier ~~ if you're going to preach the bible, first read it. All of it.
