I agree with Sharer.

It is time for New Mexicans to get the guts define marriage as it really is. Man and woman.

I really do not understand how an elected official is allowed to push their beliefs on its constituants. I really do not care to hear what Susana Martinez personally believes. I care what is good for the people. What is good for the people is equality for all people. It is such a shame that Americans, which was founded on freedom from oppression, is still allowing oppression of some of its citizens. All Americans are equal, no matter what their sexual orientation is. That is the bottom line.

Simple, if we refuse to recognize other American marriages, those states should refuse to recognize NM marriages.

If a person would research what goes on around them instead of being narrow minded I believe that this world would be much more tolerant. I have researched homosexuality and it has been proven that when a homosexual's brain is disected, there is a difference between theirs and a heterosexual's brain. So that means that this is how they were made and it is not a choice. Closed minds breed ignorance which breeds intolerance towards others who are MADE different from birth.
