But, keep in mine, you guys turn around and fly back. The troops you left there on the tarmac have to lock and load and get ready to kick ass and take names. There's no room for slackers. Every one on the ground in a war has to be mean and nasty. That's why I'm for allowing illegal aliens, especially Mexicans, to become citizens by serving in the military. Those Mexican dudes are some of the fiercest warriors I've ever seen. When you call for somebody to walk point, the first hand up is usually a Mexican, grinning from ear to ear. Read Medal of Honor winner and Green Beret Sgt. Roy Benavidez's MOH citation: http://www.homeofheroes.com/moh/citations_196... That last post was actually a stat from our last deployment. I made it seem as it is right now just to prove a point to you. Also, I understand being the mean and nasty for war, but really does that have to bleed over to a forum?

I would like to ask all of the Muslims wanting to impose Sharia law on Britain, What possessed you to move here? These Muslims knew that in coming to live in the UK, they would be living in a culture that is vastly different from their own. For them to demand that Britain adopt their values instead of adopting British and Western values themselves, they are showing extreme arrogance. If these Muslims came to the UK for only economic reasons, they should have gone to Saudi Arabia instead, a financially well-off Muslim country that practices 6th century style Sharia. Saudi Arabia takes in plenty of immigrants from all over the Islamic world. In fact, 1 out of 4 people living in Saudi Arabia is an immigrant. There is something good coming out of this: in publicly showing their hostility towards our culture and values, ordinary British people will reassess their attitude towards Muslim immigration.

That is just rude and mean. Thanks for the props, for most of us, we love to serve and don't think much of it....lol. Just another day at the office, that is until we hit foreign soil. A C130 unit...I am in a flying squadron. The C130 is the type of airplane my unit has. Most C130 units are very busy in the desert because of their capabilities on moving cargo and how quickly they can get in and out of places. Same as a C17, which is another cargo airplane that I believe is super amazing with its capabilities as well, but nothing will beat out my 130's!!!:-) My bad...lol. I guess I'm so used to rude-ism in these forums, I misunderstood what you were saying. Sorry. You're unit sounds interesting. I've always wanted to serve in our armed forces, but unfortunately, I caught a low-class felony at age 18. I'm almost 40 now and this felony hinders much of what I want to do, such as, serve my country. I have much respect for you and your fellow servicemen/women. My father was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. So, I know what men and women go through. Keep up the good work, my heart is with you. Happy Veterans Day!!

And no, your "Bible" isn't a historical document, so you will need to come up with something a tad better than that. http://www.starways.net/lisa/essays/exodus.ht... A papyrus dating from the end of the Old Kingdom was found in the early 19th century in Egypt [6]. It seems to be an eyewitness account of the events preceding the dissolution of the Old Kingdom. Its author, an Egyptian named Ipuwer, writes: Plague is throughout the land. Blood is everywhere. The river is blood. That is our water! That is our happiness! What shall we do in respect thereof? All is ruin! Trees are destroyed. No fruit or herbs are found... Forsooth, gates, columns and walls are consumed by fire. Forsooth, grain has perished on every side. The land is not light [dark]. Velikovsky recognized this as an eyewitness account of the ten plagues. Since modern men are not supposed to believe in such things, it has been interpreted figuratively by most historians. The destruction of crops and livestock means an economic depression. The river being blood indicates a breakdown of law an order and a proliferation of violent crime. The lack of light stands for the lack of enlightened leadership. Of course, that's not what it says, but it is more palatable than the alternative, which is that the phenomena described by Ipuwer were literally true. When the Bible tells us that Egypt would never be the same after the Exodus, it was no exaggeration. With invasions from all directions, virtually all subsequent kings of Egypt were of Ethiopian, Libyan or Asiatic descent. When Chazal tell us that King Solomon was able to marry Pharaoh's daughter despite the ban on marrying Egyptian converts until they have been Jewish for three generations because she was not of the original Egyptian nation, there is no reason to be surprised.

All others should be required to join one branch of the military and serve, no exception and this means both sexes. There are countries that require all to serve, why should we not also? The no exception rule would apply to all, just because one parent is in politics or some other high ranking political or military office would not be reason to exclude them. The draft would only pull in a given number, not all able bodied people of both sexes. That is what should be law here but unfortunately our great leaders cannot see that and change the law to require it. I like the draft coming back idea, Blunt. When I grew up, everybody had a 6 yr obligation to the military. Poor, dumb guys like me went out and joined right away out of high school, then went to college later. Lots of the rich kids got deferments and some didn't even have to serve; witness, George Bush, the Younger, spening his time in the reserves flying around Texas in a jet on weekends. Also, the Jarhead guy's idea of giving citizenship to immigrants sounds okay to me. Heck, let his wife and kids be citizens too, if he's willing to serve. That would give us untold resources for the long haul, because I don't think this terrorist business is going away any time soon. To show how old I am, I was a radio-telegraph operator in the Marine Corps in the 60's. We still sent messages by morse code in those days. Kinda like telegraph operators at train depots in a Gene Autry movie.

Your attempt to breed fear and hate will fail because most Americans know better. Read that as most of us are not as cowardly and ignorant as you and the other rectal openings that subscribe to your dogma of hate.

Can you imagine all the liberals coming out of the woodwork against conscription? The US gov't actually forcing somebody to serve. Imagine that! And all the rich folks, including Congressmen not wanting their children to have to serve? However, that might open the way for us to contract out our fighting forces to foreign fighters. Free citizenship to every man or woman who serves 6 yrs in the military. Hell, half of the illegals caught entering the country would probably sign on for that. What do you think? Keep in mind, it's early and my brain don't work too good early of a day.
